“Different how?”
I looked down, letting my hand drift over her stomach before my eyes found hers again.
“’Cause now every decision I make gotta include y'all.”
Her smile softened.
“Kyrie…”
“I mean that.”
I rubbed slow circles across her side.
“I used to move however the hell I wanted. Ain't think twice about nothing.”
I let out a low laugh and shook my head.
“Now, all I do is worry about whether you straight.”
She reached for my hand and laced her fingers through mine.
“We're okay.”
“I know.”
I held her gaze for another second before leaning down and kissing her. Slow and unhurried. Like I wanted to memorize everything about her. The second she kissed me back, my grip tightened around her waist. When I finally pulled away, my forehead rested against hers.
“You tired?”
She smiled.
“Not anymore.”
A grin tugged at my mouth.
“Good.”
I reached for the hem of her shirt and pulled it over her head in one smooth motion, tossing it aside. My eyes dropped, taking in every inch of her, and I felt my control start to slip.
She reached for the waistband of my joggers, but I caught her wrist, stopping her.
“Nawl.” I shook my head. “Let me.”
She bit her bottom lip, her eyes still locked on mine, and I felt that familiar pull—the one that made it damn near impossible to think straight when I was this close to her.
I eased her back onto the bed, my hands moving over her body like I was memorizing every curve. Every reaction. The way her breath caught when I touched her. The way she arched into me without even thinking about it.
“Kyrie…”
I looked up at her, my hands still resting on her hips.
“Yeah, baby?”
She didn't say anything. Just pulled me down until I was hovering over her, her legs wrapping around my waist as she kissed me like she needed me just as much as I needed her.
And maybe she did. I broke the kiss long enough to pull back and look at her. Really look at her.
“You know I love you, right?” I said, my voice low.
