“Anyway,” I said, picking my menu back up. “We about to order, so I’m finna let you go.”

“Okay. I just wanted to make sure you were good.”

“I’m great.”

“And you and Kyrie?”

“We’re great too.”

I smiled. “Anything else?”

“No.”

“Good.”

I hung up before she could say another word and placed my phone on the table. For a few seconds, Drayla and I just stared at each other.

Then, she slowly lowered her menu.

“Please tell me you caught that shit?”

“Every fucking word.”

“Because ain’t no way.”

“I know.”

She leaned forward. “That bitch told on herself.”

“Not completely.” I glanced down at my phone. “But she damn sure said enough.”

Drayla shook her head.

“And you still think Kyrie was doing too much when he told you about her?”

I rolled my eyes.

“Don’t start.”

“I’m just saying.”

“Drayla.”

She laughed, throwing her hands up.

“Aight, aight. I’m done.”

I shook my head, but the smile that tried to creep onto my face didn’t last long. My eyes fell back to my phone. Alexia could play dumb all she wanted to, but one thing about people who lied. If you gave them enough room to talk, eventually, they’d tell on themselves.

And you best believe I was going to handle her ass, pregnant and all, if I found out she had something to do with those photos.

I really didn’t know what to think after getting off the phone with Sianni. The whole conversation had me feeling like she was low-key clocking my tea without coming right out and saying it.

I’d tried so fucking hard not to say anything that would give my ass away, but Sianni kept digging. Every time I thought she was about to leave something alone, her her ass came with another question, and a few times, I damn near slipped up.

Truth be told, I was glad as hell when we finally got off the phone. If she would’ve kept me on another five minutes, I probably would’ve fucked around and told on myself.

I tossed my phone beside me and sank deeper into the couch, trying to push the conversation out of my head. Sianni didn’t know shit. She couldn’t. And even if she suspected something, suspicion wasn’t proof.
