“You look good, but I prefer the hat.” She winked and patted my chest before turning on her heel and crossing the room with an extra swing in her hips.

My eyes trailed up her legs and landed on her ass as I stood frozen like a lost puppy.

“Okay, so the plan is that guys are going to the casino and girls are going to the club. We will all reconvene at midnight,” Owen announced to the group.

We said goodbye to the girls and headed downstairs to the expansive casino. Vegas had never really been my thing—I was more of a rustic country bar type of guy. My pants were a little too tight and my hair had way too much gel in it for my liking.

But this wasn’t my party so I was along for the ride.

“So, Cash, who are you looking to hook up with tonight?” Nolan Kelly clapped both hands on my shoulders as we walked into the casino. I was sure Reid and Axle had droned on about my reputation before I even got here.

“Not really looking for anything tonight.” I shrugged.

Owen stopped dead in his tracks with Axle and Reid directly behind him. The three of them turned to me in shock.

“I’m sorry. I think my ears are clogged. Did you just say you’re not looking for a woman tonight?” Owen asked, rubbing his hand up and down his jaw.

“You feeling okay?” Axle laughed.

“Don’t tell me.” Reid’s lips tipped up at the edges. “Did someone nail down Cash Leonard?”

“That’s none of your fucking business.” I scoffed, continuing past them.

“It’s okay, dude, it happens to the best of us,” Nolan Kelly chimed in as the guys followed.

I just shook my head and tried to keep it to myself that the girl who was rapidly stealing my heart was none other than their little sister—the single girl I wasn’t allowed to have.

“So, how has the last month gone?” Lottie asked as she linked her arm in mine.

“It’s been…interesting.” I giggled as we walked toward the club inside the MGM Grand.

“Has Daddy Cash been treating you well?” Micah, one of my best friends, asked with a smirk.

“Cash has been fine.” I rolled my eyes. The girls didn’t need to know about the kiss Cash and I shared—at least not yet. That was a secret that could come out during girls’ night a few years from now when we could all laugh about it.

“Daddy Cash is hot,” Maeve Kelly said as she stepped in line with us.

“How long until Cash barges into the club and steals her away?” Taylor, my other traitorous friend, chimed in.

“Wait, has that happened?” Keegan Kelly popped up next to us.

I had heard endless stories about the Kellys, but this was my first time meeting them. I realized I had a few new girl crushes. Keegan, Ryleigh, and Maeve were Owen’s sisters, and Maggie was engaged to Owen’s brother, Nolan. The girls had a contagious energy that made you want to laugh and stay up all night gossiping.

I could see why Lottie loved them.

“We have been dying to hear all about this Daddy Cash,” Maggie added as we approached the club doors.

“I will tell you guys all about the thorn in my side that you speak of. But for now, I need a drink.”

I grabbed Lottie’s and Keegan’s wrists dragged them forward into the dark club. We were guided to a roped-off area that had a large round velvet couch and buckets of every type of alcohol you could imagine. Neon lights filled the air as smoke blasted from behind the DJ platform. The ceiling was four stories high with black pipes exposed and crystal chandeliers that glowed pink.

We grew up with money on the ranch, but this was beyond anything I could fathom. I was used to country dive bars and an occasional night at the only nice Italian place within twenty miles of Ashton Creek. Lottie had told me the Kellys enjoyed luxury, and honestly, this was a lifestyle I could get used to.
