Was that normal?
Of course, Makayla had no idea and no way to find out, so long as Marvin was in the room with them. If it were just Van, she could ask her questions, get him to explain to her in detail what she should expect, and then prepare herself for it.
Not that there was really any way to prepare yourself to be sold to a monster, but she could do her best.
“Who?”
“Guy in Japan,” Van replied. “Request came directly to us, for her specifically. Wants her prepped and sent today.”
Before anyone could say anything else, a powerful orgasm came rushing through her body. Her internal muscles clamped down around the toy, and with it buzzing inside her and against her bundle of nerves, she came hard and fast, screaming her release into the room, probably loud enough for everyone else to hear too.
Because Marvin kept the toy right where it was, the orgasm went on and on, quickly turning from one to two, and then three. After the third, she began to sob, pleading with him to take it away.
“Thought you wanted to come, smart mouth,” Marvin taunted as he kept the toy right where it was.
“Enough,” she begged. “Enough. Can't take more.”
“You'll take what you're told to take,” Marvin said, refusing to remove the toy that was buzzing like crazy inside her, shoving her toward a fourth totally unwanted orgasm.
Now her entire body shook, tears streamed down her cheeks, she felt hot and cold at the same time, and she hurt all over. She just wanted this to stop, to be over, but Makayla was pretty sure this was just a brief prelude to what would happen once she got to Japan.
“Stop,” Van snapped, a command this time. “We have to get her ready, and you're only prolonging it. Orders are to have her cleaned up, dressed, drugged, and then delivered to the airport, where a private jet will be waiting to transport her.”
“Aww, I'm gonna miss her,” Marvin said, his lips nipping at her jaw, but he must have realized playtime was over now and that he had no more right to torment her, because she apparently belonged to some Japanese guy.
“There are five other women here,” Van reminded him. “And she’s going to be replaced. There are plenty of other playthings for you. Now, hurry up and go find clothes and prepare the drugs. I’ll get her down and cleaned up.”
“That was fun, smart mouth, I’ll miss you.” Marvin planted a kiss to her lips, and if she’d had enough energy left, she would have tried to bite him.
Instead, she just sighed in relief when Marvin removed the toy and tossed it onto a table, before heading out of the room.
The second they were alone, Van was beside her. One of his arms wrapped around her waist, lifting her slightly so there was no longer pressure on her wrists and shoulders. The relief was instantaneous, and she sighed all over again.
“You okay?” Van asked as he balanced her weight with one arm, while with his other he reached up to undo the leather straps at her wrists.
Was she okay?
No. Of course, she wasn't.
Nothing about this, about being in this place was okay.
But was she broken?
No.
This had been horrible, and she was terrified about the unknown, but she was still standing. She hadn't shattered yet, and she wouldn't allow herself to. If she could survive her childhood, then she could survive this, too. She could hold on until Van was able to send people to save her.
“Makayla?” he prompted when she didn't answer. With her wrists free now, he shifted his hold on her so they were chest to chest, her legs wrapped around his hips, and her hands on his shoulders. Her arms burned with pins and needles, her cheeks were still wet with tears, and her body slick with sweat.
As far from okay as she was, she had to reassure him that she’d be okay.
“You don’t need to worry about me, Van,” she promised.
His dark eyes searched hers, and while one of his arms was under her backside, holding her up, his other hand lifted to palm her cheek. The gesture was tender, full of affection, but she could read the confusion in his face. He wasn't used to being like this. It was foreign to him, she was making him feel things he didn't want to feel, and it made her want to apologize for it.
As badly as she wanted to convince him to find another way, stop the sale from going through, she could never ask that of him. He was here to do a job, and she couldn’t get in the way of that.
Wouldn't. Not when there were so many other lives hanging in the balance, so many other innocent women needing help, needing Azure to be shut down.
