Aunt Tina steps in front of them with a solemn, almost theatrical smile. No red roses here. On this reality show, survival tastes a little different.
"You entered this house as eight couples," she announces, her voice vibrating with drama. "You faced the dark, deceit, and fear. But horror waits for no one."
She holds up a classic red-and-white striped paper bag, overflowing with popcorn.
"To those who make it through the night... goes the viewers' reward."
Tina calls the couples, one by one. Levi and Emma. Indya and Carolina. Cole and Cade. Emerson and Susan. Sam and Katherine. Ron and Selene.
Each couple steps forward to claim their retro movie theater popcorn bag. It's the official symbol of surviving the cut.
Silence falls as the camera lingers on the empty spot at the end of the line. Josh and Lizzie aren't there.

[CONFESSIONAL: JOSH AND LIZZIE]
The shot is tight and intimate. Lizzie is sitting on the confessional couch, her right foot bandaged and propped up on a pillow, with an ice pack pressed against her swollen ankle. Her makeup is smudged and her hair is a mess, but her smile is serene.
Beside her, Josh is a mountain of tension. His jaw is clenched tight, elbows resting on his knees, staring at the floor. He stares at her foot, his fists clenched, visibly devastated and consumed by guilt for not protecting her from the fall. Lizzie sighs. She reaches out and gently strokes his tense shoulder.
"Come on..." she murmurs, catching his eye. "I'm so sorry we're out, because the show is really fun but... you don't need to worry like this. It's just a stupid sprain."
Josh shakes his head, looking guiltily up at the lens. "I should have guided you better..."
"Stop it," she cuts him off, pulling on his t-shirt until he rests his head on her shoulder. Josh surrenders, closing his eyes and burying his face in her hair, while Lizzie smiles sweetly at the camera. She grabs a handful of their consolation popcorn. Defeat has never looked so romantic.

[B-ROLL – HIDDEN CAMERA: OUTSIDE THE BARN]
Natural light, bright sun. Stolen footage.
Carolina is walking toward the makeup tent, swaying her hips hypnotically in her tight jeans, her “Cowboy, Behave” T-shirt on full display.
Behind her, leaning against the rough wooden split-rail fence, are Cade and Cole. The twins stop talking simultaneously. As if synchronized by some primal instinct, they lean forward. They both tip the brims of their hats down slightly with one finger and track her with their eyes, studying her from head to toe with hungry expressions.
Cole bites his lower lip, winking shamelessly when Carolina glances back at them over her shoulder. Cade crosses his arms, flashing a predatory grin. Flirts to the bone. Carolina bites her thumbnail and keeps walking.
[CONFESSIONAL: CAROLINA]
She's sitting alone. She runs a hand through her hair, her eyes shining with pure, chaotic mischief.
She tilts her head to the side, as if weighing an impossible dilemma. Then she shakes her head, amused.
"Why choose?"
She bursts into laughter, a clear, brazen laugh, throwing her head back.
She looks dead into the lens, shrugging her shoulders. "Yeah. I said it."

[CONFESSIONAL: EMERSON AND SUSAN]
Emerson and Susan are sitting on completely opposite ends of the leather couch. The tension between them could power the Elm Hollow electrical grid for a month.
"I repeat," Emerson starts, staring straight at the camera to avoid looking at her. "You have absolutely zero strategy. You acted on impulse, irrationally, and it almost caused our elimination. I told you I should have done it."
