“I’m okay.” I lied. And now, I wasn’t thinking about the survey, I was too distracted by Zach’s closeness. I kind of wanted him to flip me over and straddle me.

“Well? What does it say?”

I realized I had been holding the paper and not reading. Shit. Um, something something, ninety percent overall satisfaction.

“The house did well.”

Leadership of house, sixty-five percent?!

“Fuck.”

“What?”

I froze. Zach’s hand was on my back, then I felt his breath on my ear.

“Let me see. You’re killing me with the suspense.”

I could barely speak. I don’t know what happened. Zach had touched me before, but this was different. He grabbed the papers out of my hand and I turned onto my side, propped on my elbow to watch him.

After a few minutes, he spoke.

“You’re good. All of the negative comments were about Liam.”

“Well, that’s still not great.”

“Will you hush?” Zach slapped my thigh, but then left his hand there. My breathing picked up. “Any time you’re mentioned it’s positive. ‘Mateo Decker is THE’–all caps–‘go-to guy in the house. Always willing to help with a problem or listen’.”

Well, that was nice.

“Here’s another one. ‘If the twins are the muscle of the house, then Teo is the heart. I don’t know how he has time to study and play soccer at such a competitive level’.”

“It’s not that-”

“It goes on. ‘Teo is the nicest guy.’ ‘Teo helped me move in.’ ‘When I had too much to drink, Teo took care of me.’ Now, it’s my turn to say wow. The house really is in love with you.”

I smiled at that. I should’ve known I had nothing to worry about.

“Oh, this one too. ‘Teo has the best ass of all the brothers in the house’.”

“It does not say that!”

I went to grab the papers, then scolded myself because moving caused Zach to take his hand off my body and I needed it back.

“It doesn’t, but it’s true.”

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a tingle in my balls…or my hole. It was hard to tell. I was still processing a lot of information – like Zach saying I had the best ass – so I played the whole thing off.

“I guess I had nothing to worry about then.”

“No shit.” Zach handed me the papers back, and stood up. “I’m gonna unpack.”

I watched Zach walk over to his bed and before I knew it, I was asking, “Did you get bigger?”

“Huh?”

“Your back, your shoulders. You look bigger.”

He half-turned, and my eyes dropped to his chest. He had definitely gained muscle mass.
