Jake was stroking his hair. I could see the movement on the top of his head. Seconds later, Aiden followed his brother, leaving me behind to clean up the watery mess.

CHAPTER 13

MATEO

The more I tried not to think about it, the clearer the image became.

I didn’t see anything. I mean, I could tell that Zach was jacking off, but I couldn’t see his cock or anything.

While home for Thanksgiving break and bored – my parents were somewhere else doing who knows what – I walked to Zach’s house and let myself in. His Jeep was in the driveway and his parents’ cars weren’t. When the front door opened, I assumed he was home.

And he was.

Sitting in his swivel gaming chair and watching two jocks rail a third guy in between them on his oversized monitor. I didn’t know what to be more fascinated by – Zach’s pumping arm or the action on the screen. And I wasn’t unsettled at all, for whatever reason. I definitely liked both things.

Zach was extremely vocal when he finished. Silently and perhaps with a little guilt, I crept back down the hall and then with great volume exaggerated my entrance in the house, giving him time to take care of his…stuff. Since I knew he was in his bedroom, I made it a point to start in the living room, after which I went to the kitchen to grab a drink, which was where he met me. He was completely disheveled. I tried not to glance at his crotch and failed, and it was now, with that memory, that I was completely hard in his passenger seat, driving back to campus to finish out the semester.

I’m not sure how it happened, but I was horny for my best friend.

And shockingly okay with it.

“Look who’s back!”

Liam greeted us at the door, which was a surprise. If it wasn’t at a party, I hadn’t seen him much this semester other than our house meetings, which I usually had to remind him about.

“Howdy, stranger.” I tipped an imaginary hat towards him, then turned to hold the door for Zach.

“How was your Thanksgiving?” Liam asked. “Come on in, it’s freezing out there!”

“What’s with the royal treatment?” Zach asked.

Liam seemed to understand our perplexion. “Uh, they sent a survey out to randomly selected Greek members.” He lowered his voice. “The house did great and I didn’t get bad reviews per se, but there was a theme of ‘I’m not around much’, so I’m trying to rectify that. Been chasin’ too much tail this semester. Here’s your mail!”

Half-in-shock, I took the pile handed to me, then watched Zach do the same. I couldn’t believe he didn’t go on a warpath to find out who said what. I almost didn’t recognize him. And maybe he hadn’t been around a lot, but he was our quarterback. That was a lot of pressure.

“I’m hanging in here for the day, playing video games, doing whatever. Come back down if you want.”

“The results in here?” I asked, curious if I was the subject of any comment. “Did we know this was happening?”

“I already talked to the dean. It’s part of bringing Greek life back. They wanted to know how it was going without any prejudice or threats. That’s why it was a surprise.”

I nodded. That made sense.

“That’s certainly one way to get honest feedback,” Zach commented, as we made our way to the stairs.

“Did you know about the survey? Were you asked for your opinion?” I asked.

“Do you think I would’ve given it and not told you?”

I heard how asinine my question was, so I apologized. “Sorry, I know you would’ve told me. I’m just…worked up about it, I guess.”

“Everyone loves you, Teo. You’ve got nothing to worry about.”

I dropped my bag on the floor and crashed stomach-first on the bed, scanning the mail for something from the college. Why couldn’t they have e-mailed this?! Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Zach grab a seat at my desk. He was curious too.

Tearing open the envelope, I really tried to stop my hands from shaking.

“Do you want me to read it or you good?” Zach had moved from the chair to my bed now.
