“You know I can hear you guys, right? This locker room is like an echo chamber.”

Shit! Shit! Shit!

It was Hayden. He came around the corner, grabbed our towels, and said, “For what it’s worth, I am gay, but I’ve seen better.” And with a wink, he walked away.

If embarrassment could kill someone, I’d be dead. I looked through my fingers, horrified, to see Danny’s mouth and eyes wide open. He was as stunned as I was.

It’s all we could talk about on the walk back to the main campus.

After saying goodbye to Danny, I made my way up the stairs. The warmth of the building made me realize how cold I was. It was time to break out my hoodie. Clearly, winter was coming.

I opened the door to-

“I’m cumming!”

-find Logan blasting a rope of dick sauce all over his stomach.

“Jesus Christ!” I turned away, but it would be forever ingrained in my memory. “There wasn’t a sock on the door. We agreed to put a sock on the door!”

“Is someone there? Turn the camera off!”

From my seat on the bed, I could hear Logan fumbling with something before he said, “Later, babe,” then, “Dude, that was shit timing.”

“Tell me about it. I did not need to see that,” I replied, which only reminded me of what happened earlier. After all, Hayden didn’t need to see what I had shown him. “Do I need to bother asking their name or was it a one time thing? And since when do you have cam sex?”

“Less mess.”

With what I had seen, I doubted that. “Do you need a minute to clean up? Should I leave?”

“No.”

I flopped onto the bed, facing the wall and opened Grindr.

“I’m sorry I didn’t put a sock on the door, Mike.”

“Apology accepted.” I sighed. It didn’t look like PillowByter was online.

“I’m decent. You can look now.”

I flipped onto my back and chanced a look Logan’s way. “Really?”

“What?” He shrugged.

“A crop top and denim cutoffs? It’s almost November and it’s not nineteen eighty-three.”

“One, we’re inside. Two, the eighties were amazing. And three, it’s a cropped football jersey.”

“Where’d you get a cropped football jersey and why?”

“Ebay,” he answered, “and don’t judge me! Chicks like it. Makes me look like a jock. Do you like it?”

I rolled my eyes, but begrudgingly had to admit the attraction. “You know I’m madly in love with you, Logan. Clothes that showcase your fantastic abdominals are a blessing.”

“Shut the fuck up. I know you love all this.” He rubbed his stomach for emphasis, which made me smile.

“Your humility really adds to it.” I changed the subject. “Is this thing”–I gestured to his computer–“serious?”

“As serious as you and PillowByter,” Logan answered.
