He groans, burying his face in my throat, and gives me exactly what I asked for. He fucks me like he means it, lifting me almost all the way off his cock before dropping me. I bounce every time I land, forcing him a little deeper.
He growls every time, one hand digging into my hip. "Goddamn, you look so fucking good wrapped around me, Loralei. I might keep you on my cock all day, just so I can keep watching that perfect face."
"Ash, please."
"What do you need, baby? Tell me, and you've got it."
"Harder!"
"Like this?" He slams into me, driving me back against the tree.
I shout his name, clawing at his arms.
"I'll take that as a yes," he says through a chuckle, then does it again and again. Within seconds, he's fucking me too hard to talk. And I'm too far gone to do anything but take every perfect, savage thrust.
"The canyon sounds beautiful when it's full of your pleasure, Loralei," he murmurs, his lips at my ear. "Keep singing for me."
I sob his name, and then scream it when he hits some spot inside that has me unraveling instantly. I come so hard I lose track of everything except the sound of his voice in my ear, whispering praise and filth in equal measure.
When I come back to myself, he isn't done with me. He just kisses me and keeps going, driving me right back up the ledge. But this time, I beg him to go over with me. I want to feel it. I want him inside me, spilling out of me. I don't care if it's dangerous, reckless, or stupid. I want it anyway.
"I almost pushed it inside you last night," he groans, fucking into me again and again. "I wanted you marked inside and out so fucking badly."
"Do it now," I beg. "I want it, Ash."
"Christ," he groans, slipping one hand between us to grind perfect circles around my clit. "You want me to fill you up, baby? Want me to breed this perfect pussy?"
"Yes!" I sob, already unraveling around him.
He growls my name, slamming me down on him again and then again. I detonate with a sharp cry, coming in powerful waves that leave me boneless on top of him. He plants himself deep, snarling my name, and then I feel him spilling into me.
I choke on his name, collapsing forward against his chest. He catches me, holding me tightly. And for one split second, I let myself hope that he never lets me go.
Chapter Seven
Ash
"Can I ask you a question?" Loralei asks over lunch, peeking at me from beneath her lashes from the opposite side of the small kitchen table. Sunlight streams through the large windows all around the room, catching on lighter strands of her hair. She's dressed in her own clothes again. There was no other choice. By the time we made it back to the cabin, her borrowed sweats and t-shirt were covered in mud. So was she.
I regret nothing. I'll fuck her against a tree any day of the week.
But as soon as the question leaves her lip, I tense on instinct before forcing myself to relax. Whatever she wants to ask, I doubt it's any of the nine thousand asinine questions everyone else always asks me. That isn't Loralei. I may not know everything about her, but I've learned enough about her to know that much.
"Ask away," I say, leaning back in my chair with my hands clasped behind my head.
"Why are you here?" She grimaces as soon as the curious question bursts from her lips. "I'm sorry. That came out way ruder than I meant it. I just mean…"
"Why the fuck am I hiding out in a cabin in the middle of nowhere?"
"Yeah," she says, shrugging apologetically.
"Good question." I frown at a tiny divot in the wooden tabletop, still not entirely sure I know the answer to that question or that I'm comfortable with the answer, rather.
"You don't have to tell me," she whispers after a moment. "It's not really my business."
I'm not so sure that's true, not anymore. I think it might have become her business the second I found myself outside of the bathroom yesterday, hoping she'd let me in.
When I woke up this morning and she wasn't in the cabin, I panicked. I keep telling myself that this can't last, that we're too different. Truth is, even if that's what she needs—for me to be a fleeting moment in her life—it's not what I want.
