I searched the hangar.
Two armed men waited near the aircraft.
Another stood above us on a maintenance platform.
We couldn’t enter without exposing Wynn and Elena.
The facility countdown continued.
Three minutes.
Kane looked toward Minser.
“You were always the weakest member of Ghost’s team.”
Minser’s expression didn’t change.
“You thought Ghost was weak too.”
“He disobeyed an order.”
“He protected the key.”
“He betrayed his commander.”
“He protected civilians.”
“He destroyed everything we built.”
“No,” Minser said. “You did that.”
Kane laughed.
“I gave you a purpose.”
