“Yes.” Matteo’s eyes stayed on mine. “We want what comes next.”
“I don’t know how to forgive everything.”
Dante stepped close enough that I had to tilt my head back. “Then don’t do it all tonight.”
I swallowed, debating my next words. “I’m still in love with you.” I pressed a hand to my stomach because everything inside me turned into a chaotic swirl right in my gut. “I didn’t want to be. I worked very hard not to be. For five years, actually, so I’d appreciate some credit for effort.”
Luca took one step toward me. “Full marks for stubbornness.”
“Thank you.”
Dante’s throat worked. “Nina.”
“No.” I lifted a hand because if he said one more thing in that tone, I would cry, and I was tired of crying. “Let me finish.”
They all went quiet but not still. Instead, they slowly closed the distance between us until they surrounded me. It should have felt suffocating. “I love you. All of you. I loved you when I ran. I loved you when I hated you, which was exhausting. And I love you now even though our lives make absolutely no sense.” My voice cracked, but I kept going because stopping would be worse. “I don’t know how to make this safe. I don’t know how to stop being afraid that one day you’ll have to choose between us and the world that keeps calling.”
Matteo took my hands. “We choose you and Sofia. Then we build the world around that choice.”
My breath caught. “You can’t promise it will be easy.”
“No.” His hand rose to my cheek. “I promise it will be ours.”
Luca ran his hand up and down my spine. “Messy and dangerous, but ours..”
Dante stepped in behind me, close enough that his warmth reached my back before his hands did. “Ours.”
I turned my face into Matteo’s palm and closed my eyes. “I want to believe you.”
“Then start there.” Dante’s lips brushed my ear.
Luca’s fingers slid around mine. “Start with wanting.”
I laughed under my breath. “You would make that sound filthy.” I kissed his cheek, then squeezed his hand. “Bedroom?” This time, it was Matteo who swept me into his arms and raced down the hallway.
Dante closed the door behind us and turned the lock. The soft click shot through my body with the heat of a lightning strike. Matteo’s lips crashed into mine. This was no soft kiss but a consuming brand that stole my breath and set every nerve on fire. God he tasted good. Luca stepped in and began undoing the buttons on my shirt, taking his time with each one.
I broke off the kiss with Matteo and grinned at him. “I can undress myself.”
“Yes, but this is much more fun.” As though to prove his point, he slid the material off my shoulder and kissed the exposed skin. Matteo still hadn’t released me, so I let my head fall back against his arm, giving Luca better access.
Dante removed my socks, then slid his hands up my calves, massaging the muscles before Matteo lowered my feet to the floor. They undressed me piece by piece, worshiping my body with kisses and praise. By the time I stood naked in front of them, my entire body trembled with need. They’d taken turns undressing while teasing me to the point of distraction.
Dante sat on the edge of the bed and pulled me between his knees, his hands sliding over my thighs, my hips, and then my waist. Luca dropped to his knees in front of me. I looked down and forgot how to breathe.
That wicked smile of his had caused me trouble from the night I met him. He rubbed his cheek over the inside of my thigh, his breath ghosting over my clit. “I have missed this view.” He kissed my inner thigh, close enough to make my knees shake but not close enough to satisfy.
Dante’s hands tightened on my hips when Luca put his mouth on me. My head fell back, and Dante wrapped a hand around my throat in that gentle hold of his.
Luca dragged his tongue over me slowly, then slid two fingers inside. My body tried to bow forward, to curl around the pleasure. Luca hummed, smug bastard, and I nearly came from the vibration. His fingers curled inside me, hitting that sweet spot that bucked my hips onto his tongue. He worked my clit as my whole body went tight. I came hard enough my vision blurred, my breath stuck in my throat.
Before I could recover, Dante pulled me onto his lap, my back to his chest, and my legs spread over his thighs. His cock pressed against me, hard and hot, but he didn’t push inside. Not yet.
Matteo moved in front of me, kissing me deep while Luca climbed in on the other side and dragged his mouth over my breast.
Dante kissed my shoulder. “Too much?”
“Not enough.” I gripped his thighs and rolled my hips. “More, Dante. Give me more.”
