“You’ve got some ketchup on your face.” I got up and grabbed a paper towel. After I dampened it in the sink, I went back to wipe him up. If I was more familiar with his apartment, I would have preferred to use a washcloth. Who was I kidding? I would have really preferred to give the sweet boy a bath.

He leaned into my touch as I cleaned his face, enjoying the moment. A Daddy could get used to this kind of intimacy. You didn’t have these quiet moments while playing at the club. Sure, I could clean my partners in a scene, but it was different when there was an audience watching.

Last night, I’d gone to Primal hoping to meet someone. Never in a million years would I have wanted that wish to be granted by having someone accidentally drink spiked milk. But as bad of a person as it made me, I couldn’t be mad about how things had worked out.

Looking at the sweet boy who had eaten with me and let me clean his face almost made the incident from the night before feel worth it. “Let’s go pick a movie.”

He said something, but it was unintelligible through his yawn. Then he took my hand and pulled me to his living room. We stopped in front of an open cabinet that was filled with both VHS and DVD movies. That gave me all the answer I needed.

He was old school with his media, at least his Little media, and that made him even cuter. I was quickly discovering that everything about him did. Damn, I was falling fast…too fast. I kept having to remind myself to slow things down. There was no rushing a real connection.

A lot of Littles preferred videos and DVDs because making decisions on a streaming service tended to pull them out of Little space with all the passwords and steps. It made sense, especially for a Little without a Daddy to take care of that for him.

“What would you like to watch?” I only recognized about a third of the titles on his shelves.

He shrugged and leaned against my side. The sweet boy wasn’t up for making decisions today, it seemed.

I ran my fingers through his hair. “Want me to help pick one?”

He nodded.

I scanned the options and picked out two very different types of movies. One was a cartoon fairy tale, and the other was about teddy bears that went on an adventure. If one of those didn’t work, I’d grab a couple more options. “How about one of these?”

He grabbed the teddy bears. I made a mental note that he liked limited options for next time. I probably shouldn’t have been thinking about next time already, but I was. I couldn’t help it.

I set up the movie and sat on the couch. “Do you have any blankies you like?”

He pointed to his ottoman.

I quickly realized it opened up and served as storage for his blankets, stuffies, and throw pillows. On top was a teddy bear blankie that matched the movie we were about to watch. Apparently, I’d picked a good one.

I dropped onto the couch beside Casey and covered him up.

He instantly snuggled into me, burrowing closer as the movie got going. Along with lunch, I picked up some candy as a treat, but seeing him so sleepy, I decided to save it for later. With my arm securely around him, we enjoyed the movie.

It was a cute story, and every time I thought Casey was just about asleep, he giggled at the bears’ antics.

I kissed the top of his head. I couldn’t help myself. “You like this one, huh?”

“It’s my favorite. You’re really good at picking movies. Do you always pick movies for your boys?”

I was sure that if we’d had this conversation at the table while we were facing each other or when he was more awake, he wouldn’t have opened himself up so directly. He wasn’t “my boy” and we both knew it, but I definitely wanted to explore heading in that direction. “I’ve never had one,” I admitted. “It took me a long time to figure out that I wanted someone to call me Daddy. Someone to take care of outside of scenes in the club.”

He sighed. “You’ll be good at it.”

I soaked in the praise, letting the conversation end there as the teddy bears made yet another silly choice that was gonna get them in trouble with the alligator.

About halfway through the movie, Casey looked up at me.

I ran my fingers along his wrist. “Are you okay?”

“I thirsty.” Not I’m. I. He was at least partly in Little space.

“Do you want me to get the rest of your soda?” I didn’t love the idea of sugaring him up, but I also didn’t want to jump straight to offering him my chest.

“Not that.” He looked at my chest and bit his lip.

My heart soared. “Do you want milkies?”
