His Wounded Heart

by Caitlyn O’Leary

“Now,” she growls.

I kneel back up and peruse her body, her flushed face, her beautiful breasts, her wet folds. I can’t hold on any longer.

I sink into her tight depths, and she moans. I look at her beautiful eyes as I rest against her and hold her head in my hands. I see nothing but passion and pleasure.

“So good.” She gives me a decadent smile.

“I desperately need to feel her smile, so I rub my cheek against hers, and then blow in her ear. I thrust harder and Trenda wraps her legs around me, pulling me close, but she’s no match for my strength.

I pull out and then push in. Our rhythm is a dance that is like no other. I nip her earlobe, and she wails my name.

I feel sweat trickling down my back as I hear her panting, so close. She’s so close. I feel the tingling and I can’t hold on much longer.

I push upwards.

“There. Yes, there again,” she yells.

I grin harshly. I give two more thrusts and her channel squeezes my cock, tight.

“Yes, yes, yes,” Trenda screams. She grips me like a fist. I see her smile as she starts to whisper my name.

Fire surrounds me and I feel my head exploding.

“I love you, Trenda.”

Chapter Thirty-Four

Knoxville and Pigeon Forge don’t have anything that I like. When did I turn into such a picky bastard for an engagement ring? For Patsy’s, it took me ten minutes. I trudge back out to my GTO after crossing off the last jeweler in the Knoxville area. This is ridiculous. Gray Tyler was the only man I ever heard of who had this kind of problem and he finally had one made. That’s out of the question because Nic’s wedding is next weekend.

I get in my car and head to Nashville, with the music on a normal volume. Don’t want to do anything that might fuck up my hearing. I can’t believe that Trenda made me a country music playlist that I actually like, but I boot it up and start with that.

It’s not until I’m halfway to Nashville that Trenda calls. I’ve been expecting it, because she was due to get a courier over to her about Bella’s inheritance.

“Hello there, Beautiful Lady.”

“Simon, have you found the wedding present that you wanted to give them?”

“Not yet. Still looking.”

“I think it’s wonderful that you’re not just going to their online registry. I think they’ll treasure whatever you end up finding.”

“I sure hope it ends up being treasured,” I say. “Why are you calling? Did you get the papers?”

“Yes I did, and there are a lot more than I expected. Not only does Bella get a payout of Brantley’s estate, she also gets shares in his business. Those were equally distributed amongst the four children.”

“Seems straightforward.”

“It isn’t. Mr. Grant, the attorney, also sent me this big box full of paper that’s this ongoing lawsuit between Harris Development and the homeowners of his largest residential project. Mr. Grant gave me a cover letter explaining that if they win, that Harris Development could go bankrupt paying out to the claimants, and that they could go after the assets from the estate.”

“That sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me.”

“I don’t know, I keep thinking this is too good to be true. What’s more, taking something—anything from Brantley has just felt ucky.”

“Even if it’s for Bella?”

There is a long pause.

“Trust me, that’s the only reason I stepped forward, is because this is money that Bella is entitled to.”
