“Old, my ass. You’re in your thirties.”
Yeah, with the bones of an eighty-year-old. Auston chose not to argue.
“Hmm, okay…how’s this?” The water in Charlie’s bath rippled and then a long, slick leg broke the surface, foot resting on the far side of the tub, bubbles sluicing off the smooth skin.
“There’s my perfect boy,” Auston complimented.
“I shaved a few days ago. It felt so good, but it’s a little prickly now.” A long-fingered hand slipped up and down his leg to demonstrate.
“Well, now you’re just teasing me.” Auston smiled.
“I would never, Daddy.”
“Uh-huh.”
“You wanna watch me shave?”
“I would literally like nothing more.”
Auston soaked his sore muscles and bones as Charlie gave him a show. He went slow, spreading soap on his legs and dragging the razor up each stretch of skin.
It was mesmerising, honestly. Auston watched him in a trance, moving only to keep his own water hot enough to offer some relief.
When Charlie was done, he rinsed off and pointed the camera so it showed him moisturising all over, starting with his cute little feet and up, up, getting the round globes of his ass, his tight abs, his chest.
Maybe it was the painkillers kicking in or the sheer endorphins of watching Charlie, but Auston felt significantly better afterwards.
He rinsed off much more carefully and much less attractively. He managed to dry off and get in some comfortable sweats without falling over, though.
“Okay,” Charlie said. “Hydrate, and then we have to get some food in you.”
Auston grunted, appetite at a zero but knowing Charlie was right.
He followed his baby’s instructions, getting an electrolyte drink from the fridge and ordering some healthy bowl thing from one of Charlie’s favourite restaurants—which meant they had to live relatively close.
But Auston wasn’t thinking about that.
By the time he was fed and watered like a well-cared-for plant, Auston was instructed to lie on the bed, resting on his good side with his top leg slung over a pillow.
“You okay?” Charlie checked in.
“Yeah. Might take a nap.”
“Good idea.”
“Uh…thanks. For taking care of me,” Auston forced out, not used to showing that sort of appreciation. Mostly, he took care of himself.
“Of course, Daddy. You take care of me, I take care of you. In different ways, but it works.”
Auston nodded even though Charlie couldn’t see him. “Yeah. You’re right.”
“Rest up now. You can call later if you want, okay?”
“Okay. Thanks.”
“Bye, Daddy.”
“Bye, baby.”
