He doesn’t waste a second after that, his lips landing on mine in an almost soft caress. As if learning the shape of my lips.
I round my hands around his neck as he presses his lips against mine again, with more force this time.
As if he can’t believe that he’s kissing me. And honestly, I can’t either.
His lips mold with mine, his beard tickling my soft skin as he pulls me closer onto his lap.
For a moment the fear of anyone walking on us disappears.
I moan into his mouth when his tongue traces the seams of my lips, and he takes that as an invitation to push his tongue inside.
I pull on the hair at the back of his neck, pushing myself on top of him. I need more of him. Right now. Right here.
It’s only when I find myself losing my breath when he lets go of me.
But even then he stays close to me. With a small smile on his lips, he touches his forehead with mine.
“Do you know I have been wanting to do this since the moment I saw you at your event?”
I smile at his words.
“We weren’t even friends then,” I tease.
He shakes his head, smoothing out my hair with his fingers.
“Didn’t matter to me,” he says, standing up with me in his arms. “I knew you were going to be mine even then.”
He presses a kiss on my forehead.
“Let’s go home. I’m not done with you yet.”

Ihave never been more tempted to carry Sienna in my arms and rush back home than I was when she walked into my office like she belonged there, wearing my clothes as if they had always been meant for her more than they were for me.
I don’t think she planned on having this effect on me when she walked in, but fuck, she had me losing all control.
I have never been particularly good at controlling myself when it comes to her in the first place.
And now, as she sits beside me in my car, her cheeks flushed red, it’s even harder to resist the urge to pull her onto my lap and kiss her senseless.
My heart felt like it would collapse on the spot the moment my lips touched hers. God, the pull she has on me is insane. The way she grounds me and unravels me at the same time needs to be studied.
I slide up my hand resting on her thigh and smile when she squirms under my touch.
“Are you shy?” I tease, watching her from the corner of my eye.
“No,” she lies straight through her teeth. “I think you’re the one who’s shy.”
“Baby, if you knew the thoughts running through my head every time I see you, then you wouldn’t be saying this.”
I stop my car in front of our house before getting down and rounding up to open her door. She looks at me with wide eyes as I open her door, bend down, and pick her up in my arms.
“I can walk,” she gasps, but her hands tighten around my neck.
“And I can carry you,” I chuckle.
I carry her to our bedroom in my arms in silence. All the while her eyes stay rooted on my face, as if memorizing every detail. The only eyes I would ever prefer on me are hers. I have grown up under the spotlight, and it’s her eyes that make me feel the most captured ever.
