“You’re shameless, you know that, right?”

“And you’re adorable, you know that, right?”

He chuckles before pushing his seat a little backwards.

“Come here,” he motions with his hand, and I narrow my eyes. I think I am no longer mad at him, but it’s still fun to pretend that I am.

Slowly I am becoming as dramatic as him, and I don’t think there’s any going back from that.

“Ask me nicely.”

“Come here, darling,” he says, and a blush rises on my face as I finally move from my place.

I round the table, and his eyes follow my every move.

He tugs on my hand, pulling me onto his lap. I gasp, glancing around his office.

“Dominic, we are in your office,” I remind him, but he just tightens his hold on me.

“I don’t care,” he says, and I can tell that he really doesn’t care. “All I care about is that my girlfriend is mad at me.”

I narrow my eyes.

“I never said ‘yes’ to being your girlfriend.”

He tucks my open hair behind my ear, his thumb resting on my cheek.

“You directly want to be my wife?” He quirks a brow and a teasing smile graces his lips.

“Shut up,” I say, even as my heart warms up at his words. I never thought he would even want that. After all, he has never been in a committed relationship before.

“Labels or not, both you and I know that I am yours and you’re mine. Don’t we?”

I nod absentmindedly, wondering how to respond to the way he completely douses me with affection all the time.

“Words, darling.”

That damn nickname. “Yes.”

He smiles, happy with getting what he wanted before he leans down to kiss my cheek. His lips press softly against my skin, and I clutch his shirt tightly.

Fuck being mad at him.

“Ask me to kiss you, please,” he whispers in my ears, and my heart thunders in my chest.

He leans back, his eyes flicker between my eyes and my lips before meeting my eyes again.

He caresses my bottom lip with his thumb, and I take in a harsh breath.

How did we get here again?

“Please, Sienna,” he says, his voice pleading. “I really want to kiss you, but I won’t until you say it. So please, ask me to kiss you.”

He nibbles on my jaw, and I close my eyes, and I lean my head to the side naturally, giving him more access.

“Please, darling.”

“Kiss me, Dominic,” I finally say, freeing him and us both of this torment. God knows we have wasted a lot of time.
