I pull her on top of me, and just when I think she can’t make me happier, she whispers the words I have been dying to hear into my ear.

“I love you, Dominic Wolfe. I think I have loved you for a really long time.”

Sienna Hayes

Dominic freezes in my hold, and I can’t help but smile. I couldn’t stop myself from saying the words that I have been dying to say for a really long time. Every time we are near each other, my heart itches to let him know what he means to me. Every time he touches me, my heart screams at me to let him know that I love him.

Maybe this wasn’t the most romantic or perfect moment. But it was messy and normal and so us.

“What did you say?” he asks, pulling my face up so that I am staring right into his dark eyes.

The ones that have held me captive since the day we met, but I was too scared to even admit it.

Dominic Wolfe isn’t just the love of my life, the love I yearned for. He is the person I dreamed about, the temptation I couldn’t resist from the day we met, the person whose hands I dreamed of on me, no matter how wrong it was.

I should have known that day in the bookstore that I never stood a chance against him, when his eyes landed on me and made me feel like he could unravel me.

Because he did. In the most delicious way possible.

For the longest time, I was scared that I would lose myself, my career, and my so-called relationship if I chose him.

But consequences be damned. I would ruin myself just to be with Dominic.

No questions asked.

“I said I love you, Dominic Wolfe. I don’t know when that happened, when I fell for your cheesy remarks, your stupid arrogance, and that sassy mouth of yours—but I did. I yearned for a home all my life. Not knowing that my home was waiting for me in NYC. But here we are.”

He smiles that wide, boyish smile that makes him look the most beautiful in this entire world and leans down to kiss me.

“Here we are,” he repeats before pressing his lips onto mine. I open up to him, melting under his touch.

This day didn’t start out the way I wanted, but God did it end better than I could have ever imagined it to.

“I love you so much, Ms. Hayes.” His words make my heart skip a beat, and I hope it never stops doing that.

I have a feeling Dominic won’t ever let it.

“I love you more, Mr. Wolfe.”

“God, woman, I am so in love with you.” He shakes his head with a stupid grin on his face, and it makes me so happy. “You have made me the happiest ever since you walked into my life, and I can’t even explain what you just did to me right now.”

I narrow my eyes teasingly. “Try me.”

He quirks a brow before wrapping his arms under my thighs and placing me on his lap, right above his erection.

I gasp at the sudden change in position and hold onto his neck for support.

“Let me show you,” he says, teasingly sitting up right. His hands grip my butt so hard that I am sure I will have a bruise. Hell, I know this man left a few hickeys on me here and there.

But I can’t even be mad about it when he is making me feel so good.

My sexual life had died long ago with Mark, and before him, I had never let a man be so close to me. Even he had not been so close to me in the way Dominic is.

Because the way he touches me doesn’t feel like mere pleasure. It feels like comfort and safety. Like love and home.

His hands trail up my waist as he pushes his erection onto my most sensitive part. I bite my lip as he reaches that spot of mine that makes me see stars.

“Dominic—” I moan as he lifts me up. The release from our intense orgasm before makes it extremely easy for him to slide in inside of me.
