“Yes, my love?” he asks, that cocky edge to his voice when he knows what he is doing to me.

“Please move,” I nearly beg. My nails scrape his stomach, and God, he is taut. I nearly drooled when he lifted his shirt up. For all the selfish reasons, I hope no one ever remembers his naked figure. Ever.

“As you wish,” he says before lifting me up and bringing me back down to him. I can’t help but groan when he hits my G-spot. His fingers brush against my clit, and my thighs shake uncontrollably.

“Fuck,” I whisper, and he leans up and kisses my mouth fervently. I can never get tired of the way he kisses me. It’s powerful and sensual and enough to make me become a puddle of water.

“Baby, you feel so good,” he groans, breaking away from my lips as I follow the rhythm from earlier. I can feel my stomach tightening and that familiar feeling coming over me.

“Dom, I don’t think I can hold much longer.”

His hand comes up to my throat as he holds me there firmly, making me open my eyes and stare into his. His jaw is set tight and I know he will come soon too.

“Come with me and look me in the eyes while you do,” he demands, and that voice of his undoes me.

I come over him, and just when he is about to come, he pulls out of me, spilling all over me.

He presses his lips on mine, mumbling the words I am going to remember for all of my life.

“I love you, Ms. Hayes. I love you so much.”

“I can feel you staring, you know,” I say, finally looking up from my laptop.

Over the past few days, Dominic has made space for me in his office to work alongside him. He said he works better with me near him—which is so not true. He distracts me all the time and then complains that I was being a tease when all I do is keep my head down and focus on working on our project.

At this point, I am the only one working on it, because he just stares at me.

“I can’t help it,” he says, meeting my stare with his own. “You make it so hard to focus.”

I shake my head with a sigh. He can be too much at times.

“Then let me work at home,” I say, pointing out the obvious. “I don’t need to be here, especially when I am working on this project alone.”

“Just say you hate being around me,” he taunts as he walks over to my table, and I suppress the urge to roll my eyes. “I like it when you’re nearby. It helps me feel… lighter.”

“I don’t hate you, you know that,” I say, leaning up in my chair to press a kiss to his cheek, but he turns his face around, making me kiss him on the lips instead.

I sigh when his hand sinks into my hair, pulling my face closer to his as he kisses me firmly, not letting me go.

“I love you,” he whispers against my lips, and a smile curls up on my lips hearing that.

From the moment we confessed our feelings to each other that night, he has made sure I knew he loved me. He would whisper these words to me when I would be falling asleep in his arms, when I would wake up next to him, and every waking moment in between.

And when he couldn’t whisper those words to me in person, he would leave a note or text to let me know he loved me.

It’s as if his very reason for existence is to love me and make sure I know that he loves me.

And honestly, I love every second of it. I know I deserve it. And if my reason for existence was to be loved only and only by him—then so fucking be it.

“You taste so sweet,” he groans, resting his forehead against mine. “God, I can’t help it when I am around you. What did you do to me, huh?”

I open my mouth to say something, but no words come out. I think it was a rhetorical question.

“I think you are just obsessed with me,” I say instead.

He chuckles, finally moving away from me, and I can’t admit it out loud, but it’s such a good look on him. He laughs, and I feel like I am falling even more in love with him.
