“Not even with a dead dick,” I tell him, but that’s not the answer he’s looking for.

“He’s saying you’re the world’s skid mark,” Collin explains.

Walker smirks. “Unwanted and embarrassing.”

Leave it to my brother to push the right buttons…

Or the wrong ones.

Clay snaps his fingers, and his minions converge on us.

“Work them over, boys.”

Forrest snorts. “Terrible choice of words.”

But that’s all he says before a fist hits him square in the mouth.

Collin laughs, and the minion punches him one last time, his elbow striking my cheek in the process. That’s how fucking close Clay has us sitting… Strapped to the metal fold-up chairs as he waits for my mate to show up.

Despite my anger at the situation, my Komodo dragon counterpart is calm as he stalks his prey.

And it’s not Clay.

We both know that kill belongs to Kody.

I lick my lips, tasting the blood that drips from my nose. Clay watches me with suspicion, but I simply grin.

I’ve been counting down the minutes since the minions showed up with Walker in tow. Kody called Forrest forty-five minutes later… And if I estimate based on Drew’s understanding, she was waiting for us to all be in one spot.

She doesn’t have the address to Clay’s house.

But what she does have is a shared location to all five of our phones within the security app.

I’ll give the honey badger this: he’s one prepared motherfucker.

Almost an hour has passed, which means she’ll show up between now and sunrise. She’s dragging the time out to fuck with Clay.

He gives us a smug appraisal as he sits on the table. “You don’t look so chatty now.”

“On the contrary,” Drew smarts. “We were waiting for you to get back.”

“It’s difficult to roast the honorary guest when he’s too chickenshit to stand in front of us,” Walker jabs.

“Here I am,” Clay states, holding his arms out wide.

“Hey,” Collin whispers to me. “Have you noticed how small his feet are?”

I shake my head. “I wasn’t paying attention.”

“Really?” Clay sighs. “My feet?”

Collin purses his lips. “You know what they say about small feet…”

“Funny.” The swan sneers.

“What?” Collin defends. “I was going to say they have small shoes.”

“Never heard that one,” Clay deadpans, rolling his eyes.
