I wanted him. I knew I did.
But, maybe he was right.
We went from four years of the chase and mask thing, that maybe being face to face was a different kind of transition.
“Okay.”
“Okay. I’m going back home, I think I’m going to go to my dads cabin instead. Just for some peace and quiet.”
I nodded again.
It was like a four hour drive back there.
He got up and walked to our bedroom.
I stared blankly at the TV again before he emerged with a duffle bag.
That was quick.
“I will see you in a month Raven.”
I nodded as the door closed and one single tear escaped my lids.

“Babe, come on. Just for the weekend or something.” Willow says over speaker phone.
It’s been three days since Sebastian had gone back home.
He sent a message that read “At the cabin for some time away.”
It felt weird to be alone here.
My mom has came over and my little brother but I knew he was about to leave to go visit my dad again.
Which is what brought us to the conversation we were currently having.
“I don’t know….” I trailed off as I finished cutting up my chicken.
“Your brother is already coming. Just come visit so I can see your fine ass!”
I laughed at her as I slid the chicken in the oven.
“The fair is in five days. We can go for ole times sake.”
I chuckled. “We just went last year.”
“Exactly! And if you and Sebastian get back together, I’m sure this might be our last year to go together.”
True, true.
“Come onnnnnnnn. We can call Charlie and his girlfriend up and everything!”
Awe, I did miss Charlie and also want to meet his new girlfriend.
I also did want to get away from here. It felt suffocating to have his presence here, but not him physically.
But, I was 22 now, I couldn’t just leave work whenever. Unless, I got it approved.
