I slide back the note.

“I insist.”

He grins at me, his white teeth gleaming.

“I insist on not.”

“Samuel. I don’t want you to get in trouble.”

His head tilts back on a laugh. “Right, my uncle and aunt are going to be so mad at me.”

His family owned this place?

“Oh, I -” I stutter because I didn’t know what to say next.

“Well, my dad is apart of it too, but its mainly my aunt and uncles.”

The new information was definitely eye opening.

“That is so cool.” I say as I pick up the lemonade and take a sip.

The rich flavor enters my mouth, and I am shocked by how good this tastes.

“You like it?” Charlie asks as I drink a little more.

“Mhmm.”

“Rave! Did you get a drink?” I hear being called out to me as the voice gets closer.

Willow.

“Well, well, well. Hello Willow.” Samuel says as he leans back on the counter and cross his arms over his chest.

She glares at him, before she just says a hello back.

I have got to hear more of this lore tomorrow or something.

Justin appears as well, and he looks at Samuel before looking at Willow.

“Ahh, and here goes my precious cousin.” Samuel says.

Justin sighs. “Hey Sammy.”

Samuel’s smile goes away. “You don’t get to call me Sammy anymore.”

“I said I was sorry.”

“I don’t care.”

There has to be more to this story.

“Well, if I knew there was going to be a party at the concession stand, I would’ve chose to work this one.” a voice says and we all turn to see Sebastian walking up.

His dark hair was slicked back, revealing his strong jaw and he was wearing the same uniform as Samuel.

He stood taller than Justin and Charlie, his frame moving between them to stand next to me.

“Hello Raven.” he says with a wolfish grin.
