“No, I’m just warning you.” His fingers slid higher up my thigh. “So the two of you hooked up. Walk me through that night.”
“We were dancing.”
“Like this?” Adonis asked. He wrapped his arm across my torso, the way he had the first time we’d danced. Like he couldn’t get close enough to me. Or maybe like he was scared I’d bolt. But I wasn’t going anywhere. It hadn’t been exactly like this. But pretty damn close. His fingers trailed higher up my thigh.
“Yes,” I whispered.
“And then what?”
“We took things further,” I said.
“Tell me.”
“We went to our secret lair.”
“Hm.” Adonis trailed the tip of his nose behind me ear. “So that lucky bastard got an invite.”
I laughed.
“Keep going.”
“He touched me. With his fingers.”
“Keep going.” His voice sounded tight.
“I told him I wanted it on the desk. Like I’d been dreaming about. But we didn’t make it that far. He slammed my back against the wall.” I tilted my head back against Adonis’ chest. “Like he was fucking me against his chalkboard.”
Adonis’ hand slid higher. “Keep going, Aphrodite.”
“He filled me.”
Adonis’ breath was ragged in my ear.
“And then he carried me to the desk.” I swallowed hard, picturing it all like it happened yesterday. “He pulled out and flipped me over and entered me from behind.”
Adonis groaned.
“And then he pulled out and skeeted all over me because...yeah.” He thought I was hideous and I couldn’t make him cum.
Adonis was quiet for a moment. But I could feel his hardness pressed against my lower back.
“And then he left,” I said. “Because I was so bad at it.”
Adonis exhaled slowly. “Like I told you before, it’s impossible for a goddess to be bad at sex.”
“Well...that’s what happened.” It was as good of an explanation as any.
“Okay, here’s what we’re going to do. Close your eyes, Aphrodite.”

He lightly bit my earlobe. “Do what I say.”
