In the aftermath, I’m curled up against Ford’s chest while Gabriel and Hayden gather around us, all of us still breathing hard and satisfied. The cabin smells like sex and contentment, and I’ve never felt more complete.

“Did that help with your fear of flying?” I ask Ford, pressing a soft kiss to his jaw.

He chuckles, the sound rumbling through his chest. “It did. But it wasn’t just the sex, Spitfire. It was you. Everything is better when you’re with me.”

I smile as Hayden kisses my shoulder and Gabriel strokes my hair, their touches gentle and full of adoration. “I love you all.”

“We love you too,” they say almost in unison.

I swallow hard, dragging in a deep breath as my chest fills with so much emotion I think it might burst.

I’ve never thought of myself as a Grinch, but my heart definitely grew three sizes this Christmas.

Dear Mr. Russo, Mr. Laurent, and Mr. Kingsley,

I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank you for the professional development opportunities provided during my tenure as Executive Assistant. I can honestly say this position has opened doors I never knew existed and has been highly educational in ways I didn't anticipate.

However, the time has come to submit my formal notice of resignation from Meridian Ventures, effective immediately. While this decision was not made lightly, I believe it will result in a more mutually beneficial arrangement for all parties involved.

In related news, I am pleased to accept your joint offer for the position of "girlfriend" (benefits package to be negotiated). Please find my salary requirements attached - note the emphasis on regular meal provisions and adequate time off for recreational activities.
