“Don't jinx it.”
Tristan laughed and kissed me, slow and sweet. When we broke apart, a love song started playing.
“Dance with me,” he said.
I nodded, and he led me to the dance floor, where other couples were already swaying to the music. Tristan pulled me into his arms, and we literally danced circles around the other couples.
“Thank you for being my Destiny,” He said. “For being as stubborn as fate.”
“Thank you for letting me.”
We danced until the song ended, through the next one, and the one after that. The tent filled with music, laughter, and hope. It was what Tristan had crashed weddings for, except now it was ours.
Eventually, Tristan leaned down and whispered in my ear. “What do you say we slip away?”
“I say it's about time.”
We made our goodbyes—hugging my parents, thanking the Conclave, waving to friends—and then Tristan took my hand and led me into the main building. We climbed the grand staircase to the third floor suite.
The room was lit with candles, their warm glow reflecting off the polished wood floors and the silk curtains. Rose petals lay scattered across the bed, and a bottle of champagne sat chilling in a silver bucket.
“Who did this?” I asked.
“Tanvi.” Tristan closed the door behind us and locked it. “She's a closet romantic.”
“That tracks.” I chuckled.
He crossed the room to me. “I've been waiting all day to get you alone.”
His mouth found mine, and the kiss was deeper this time, hungrier. His hands moved to the zipper at the back of my dress, and he pulled it down slowly, the sound of it increasing my anticipation. I shivered as the dress slipped from my shoulders and pooled at my feet, leaving me in nothing but my lingerie and heels.
“Fuck!” The word exploded from him.
I chuckled, and turned in a circle. The cream lace bra, matching garter belt, and silk stockings came from France. Little pink embroidered hearts decorated the garter and bra, with open hearts to let my nipples poke through. Instead of panties, I wore jewelry similar to the butterfly chains, except in silver, with a silver heart over my Venus mound, holding a long pearl drop over my clit. Everything was waxed, and his hand went between my legs to test the feel.
Tristan's gaze raked over me, dark with desire. “You're so soft.”
“You like?”
“I love.” He grinned broadly. “You look amazing.” He played with the pearl.
“Your turn.” I reached for his tie and loosened it before unbuttoning his shirt.
He helped me, shrugging out of the jacket and shirt before tossing them aside. His new sigil gleamed gold against his skin, a partner to mine. It was even better than our rings.
I traced the lines of it with my fingertips, feeling Heartbreak shiver inside me in response. Tristan's hands moved to cup my breasts, his thumbs brushing over my nipples.
“I love this bra. Will you keep it on?”
“And the stockings.” I undid his belt and then his pants.
He pushed them down, revealing a pair of white silk boxers. Those went too.
Grinning, I pushed him toward the bed, and he went willingly. He pulled back the covers before he sat on the edge. When I stepped between his legs, his hands moved to my hips, and he pressed a kiss to my stomach, just above the chain of my jewelry.
I sank to my knees and took him in hand, earning a sighing groan from him. As I sucked him into my mouth, his hands went to my hair and pulled the pearl pins from it. They fell to the floor, and my hair tumbled down around my shoulders.
Holding his cock with one hand, I worked his balls with the other. I luxuriated in the feel of him in my mouth, rolling my tongue around him until his fingers clenched in my hair. I pulled off him and ducked to suck on one sac and then the other.
