With that, Ace and I walked off.
“Anywhere else?” Ace asked.
“Yeah.” I grinned. “I’ve an ex to say hi to.”
Meadow’s husband screamed louder than Cartman. As Ace held Silver’s bitch tightly, I beat him half to death. Meadow’s former friend sobbed and pleaded to no avail.
I wanted blood for Meadow and was taking it.
“I’ll bury you!” Silver threatened.
“Yeah, I don’t think so. You’re going to reach out to Meadow and start paying child support for your kids. If you don’t, your trouble is just beginning,” I promised.
“You’re nothing but a scumbag thug,” Silver blustered.
“Show him exactly how much of a thug I am,” I said to Ace.
Ace grinned and ripped the diamond necklace from Judy’s neck. He ground it to smithereens under his boot and then walked away. He took a can of gas and poured it all over Silver’s two-hundred- and-fifty-thousand-dollar Jag. Ace flicked a match at it as he walked away, and it went up.
“You start fuckin’ treating Meadow and those kids right, or we’re going to dismantle your life piece by piece. And those bank accounts you hid everything in? Yeah, they’re not as untouchable as you’d like to think,” I threatened.
“I’ll kill you,” Silver growled out.
“Then, in that case, I’ll give you a reason.” I grinned and beat him to a pulp, just like Cartman.
I’d not known how much I’d hated this asshole until he was in front of me. What type of asshole shit on his children like he did. All his millions, and he couldn’t even pay child support. Nah. That didn’t sit well with me. The man was a damn fool. Three healthy, bright kids, and he treated them like crap, and all for pussy.
“Make him play fairly. If not, we’ll return. Hear me,” I threatened the sobbing woman. She nodded quickly. I stared at her. “You must suck dick like a champ. If he doesn’t pay, I know some men who’ll love to find that out.”
Judy cringed and hid her face.
I’d never sell her, but Judy believing I might would ensure she got on the loser’s back. Ace and I walked out—job done—now we had to see what Silver’s next move was.
Meadow
“Both Cartman and your ex were attacked two nights ago,” Drew said to me.
I frowned. “They’re claiming I did it? That is ridiculous.”
“Nope. Cartman confessed he was taking backhanders from your husband, which has led to multiple charges. He is also facing an investigation by the State Bar Association. His career is over, and they’ll be checking into other cases he lost,” Drew explained.
“Am I meant to feel sorry for him? The man took my one hundred and fifty thousand dollars and made a fool of me. He’s getting everything he deserves,” I said strongly and with feeling.
“Your husband is claiming you hired two thugs,” Drew stated.
I began laughing.
“Check my bank account. I have nothing. How the hell did I hire someone?”
“I’ve already pointed that out, but the detectives there will want to speak to you. It also appears that a fifty-thousand-dollar necklace was crushed,” Drew said, and I blinked.
“The one Judy was posting all over social media?”
“She was? That casts a whole different light on everything. It could have been a robbery gone wrong.” Drew frowned.
“That breaks a necklace worth that much?” I couldn’t help the incredulous answer.
“Yeah, to me it feels like it was around denying her having it. They also torched a quarter of a million-dollar car.”
