The very next day I went to the First Time Taboo Agency.

I had to drive all the way to midtown. Their office was located in a dark, gothic building. It had recently been renovated, and everything felt as if it were new.

A young male secretary sat behind a large reception desk. He was handsome and buff. He wore a fashionable blue suit.

He was typing at a computer just using his index fingers. In other words, hunt and peck. He looked to be giving a lot of concentration to the task.

"Excuse me," I said in a bright, cheerful voice.

This caught him by surprise. He jerked his head up so fast, he hit it on a desk lamp. There was an audible crack.

He winced. So did I.

"Um, I'm here about your service," I said, more subdued this time.

"Our service?" He said, rubbing his head.

I pointed to the words on the wall above him.

They read:

First Time Taboo Agency

"Oh, right," He said, laughing awkwardly.

I had to admit, he was not only buff but quite cute. But he wasn't particularly on the ball.

He rolled his chair to a drawer. Opened it. Pulled out a piece of paper. Handed it to me.

It was an application for their service.

"Do you have a pen?" I asked.

He smiled at me. He had gorgeous eyes that were anxious to please me.

He handed me a pen. I quickly filled out the application.

The only thing notable about it was this. It stated I would have to undergo a psychological examination and an interview to determine my correct matchup.

It also listed a very steep processing fee.

Daddy was rich, and therefore so was I, so I wasn't that worried about the fee.

When I handed him back the application, I asked, "shall I pay in advance?"

"In advance?" He looked confused. "Just a minute."

He picked up the phone on his desk. He hit what looked like an internal line. He smiled at me while he waited for someone to pick up.

Then when someone did, he said into the phone, "is it okay if the client pays in advance?"

The male receptionist's face drooped. It looked like he was getting scolded over the phone.

"Yes...yes...okay," he said.

He placed the phone down.

"The manager will be out in just a moment," he said.
