?She gave me a sexy smirk. “You know, someone might just get lucky tonight.”

? She grabbed the bowls, walked to the dining room table, and swayed her posterior suggestively.

?This was a side of Sheryl I hadn’t seen or was aware even existed. It was as if a switch went on, and when she turned it on…well, it certainly turned me on.

?I sheepishly brought the sandwiches out and placed them on the table, not quite sure how I should handle this. Was she merely flirting or was she serious?

?I was then given an entire show as Sheryl began to eat her sandwich in a very provocative way. She slowly put it daintily in her mouth, took a small bite, then made noises as she chewed and swallowed it. Finally, she closed her eyes in ecstasy as it went down her throat.

?My sandwich fell out of my hand, which seemed to have lost all sensation. Possibly because every bit of blood in my body flowed only to my lower parts.

?She opened her eyes a bit, and through half-closed lids moaned, “Good sandwich.”

?I leapt from my chair and took her in my arms as she chuckled deeply.

?I pressed my mouth to hers and she put down her sandwich and kissed me back, hard.

?Her hand moved down my leg and she began to touch me intimately as I groaned through the kiss.

?“I see you brought dessert,” she chortled and brought her hand up to my face as our tongues teased each other.

?All at once, she jumped and pushed me away.

?“Now what?” I gasped.

?“Sh!” she hissed, and put her finger to her mouth. “Listen.”

?I became instantly silent as I heard a quiet scratch at the door of the apartment.

?“Quick,” she whispered, “get the lights.”

?I moved to the switch and turned them off, then quietly moved back to She

ryl.

?Though darker, the room was lit by the radiance of the street lights which streamed through nearby windows.

?“You have a weapon?” she whispered.

?“No,” I murmured. “The police took my gun, remember?”

?“Anything else?”

?I slid away, reached into a nearby closet, and extracted an old baseball bat. In the dim light you could see that it was steel with several large black diamond designs on the barrel and black tape around the grip.

?Sheryl shrugged. “That will have to do.”

?I could hear keys jingle as one was inserted in the top of the three locks, which turned and unlocked.

?“I’ll undo the new lock,” Sheryl murmured. “You stand ready with the bat.”

?I nodded as Sheryl moved to the door with me close behind. We were both hunched in a crouched position, which put Sheryl’s rear end almost in my face. I fought the desire to touch it.

?Touch it? Hell, I wanted to bite it.

?She waited until she heard the key move into the second lock and although whoever used it would not have been able to turn it, she reached up and undid the bolt as if the key had achieved its task.

?She stepped back quietly, as only the third lock remained.
