She shrugged her shoulder. “Just what I was talking to you about earlier. Who is in your pack?” she asked.

I couldn’t help but smile at the question.

“Me, Luca and Cruz,” I said. “And you when you accept us.”

“Nobody else? Does Cruz have someone else?” she asked, her eyes flashing at me like a beacon. I shook my head. “And you’re all single, waiting for your omega?” Her eyes widened at that.

“There’s been others, betas, alphas... but never an omega,” I said. “And you’re our omega Tilly. We were waiting for you.”

“Okay,” she said, and I wanted to ask what she meant by that one word. Was it acceptance or just an answer to my reply?

Her nose touched my skin, and I knew my scent seeped into her lungs as hers flowed into mine, Happy I purged her of her suppressant. “Close your eyes, beautiful,” I said and smiled as she inhaled my shedding smell. I sat and watched her chest rise and fall in shallow movements, and I could almost feel the tension she was carrying ebb out of her as drowsiness and darkness came for her.

But more than anything, I was happy my omega was finally with me.
