“Understood.” The man got up, and a soldier dressed in battle armor from head to toe entered the premises and Moore gave him an envelope.

“Open it,” Sarah said, and we all watched as Sid did as she asked.

“What is it?”

“Child soldiers, Sire. Hundreds of them. They seem to be detained in a camp.”

“I would like to have a closer look. Can you activate your camera, Soldat?” my wife inquired privately, and the man obeyed.

“Where are they?” I questioned the American commander while my man stood guard in a corner and flipped through the pictures.

“In a safe location. You will never get to them without my help. Our soldiers will kill them first.”

“Lieutenant?”

“He’s right. The background offers no information,” my wife answered, making the American commander smile in satisfaction.

“If it’s any consolation, Orion, we both know you wouldn’t have killed me with my daughter’s room right beside my office. You’re not a heartless murderer.”

“You’re right, I’m not.”

I looked through the scope, and just as the man was about to sag in relief, she added, “But my husband will. My sister sends her regard, Commander.”

I pulled the trigger the minute she finished talking.

“What are we going to do about the pictures?” Oli asked.

“I’m going to give it to Bones’ team to see if he can help us retrace them.”

“Will it be enough?”

“I hope so. I will see you at home, Commander. Please make sure he gets there in one piece, boys, or you will answer to me, understood?”

“Yes, Sirrah,” the soldiers answered.

“Over and out,” my wife stated, before turning off her mic.

“Is it just me, or am I actually afraid of a girl?”

“Shut the fuck up, Slims,” I growled because he couldn’t be serious even in the most dangerous missions. I began packing my gear and said, “You heard my wife. Let’s go home.”
