“Strip club!” most of the guys in the limo chant.

Trevor and Braden are leading the charge, as Nick leans back in his seat and laughs.

“I’m going to kick all your asses if you drag me to a strip club,” I grumble. I know it’s aguything to do. I’ve watched my fair share of porn. If I was single, I’d probably be cool with going. But I’m not single. The only girl I want to strip for me is Maia.

Braden and Trev laugh louder as I roll my eyes. “This is my party. Aren’t I supposed to be having fun?”

Nick slides into the seat next to me. “Don’t pretend like you haven’t had a good night. Casino—where you won three hundred bucks—the best steak dinner I’ve had in years, a baseball game—”

“And a strip club,” Braden hollers as the limo pulls into a parking lot.

I swear, I’m gonna punch him.

“All right, the groom should be the first one out, I think,” Trev says.

My brother and Braden shove me toward the door of the limo. Reluctantly, I pull it open. Only to find we’re at an ice cream place.Assholes.

“Dude,” Braden says, doubling over from laughter. “Your face was so good.”

“Can’t believe you thought we’d actually do that,” my brother laughs.

The rest of the guys laugh too.Great, so they were all in on it.

“You’re an instigator.” I point at Braden.

He looks over his shoulders, then dramatically gestures to himself. “Who? Me? Nah. Just having a little fun. Plus, I had to give you one last test.”

I fold my arms over my chest. “Test?”

“Yeah. If you’d wanted to go have mostly naked girls grinding all over you, I would’ve had to tell Maia.” He snaps his fingers. “Darn, that would’ve been perfect. Then I could’ve slid back in there.”

He stares at me, waiting for my response. I’d be angry, but his lips are twitching. And his chest is starting to shake.

Five. Four. Three. Two.

He can’t hold it any longer and starts laughing again.

There it is.

“Great. Good looking out.”

He laughs some more as Trevor asks, “Is there anything you want to do? Last hurrah? Get in a little bit of trouble?”

Nick laughs. “Please, he doesn’t do trouble.”

“Now I’m the butt of the jokes, too?” I ask.

“Well then, tell us somethingdangerousyou want to do,” Braden says.

Leaning against the side of the limo, I say, “There’s nothingdangerousI want to do. Not with you assholes, anyway. But there is one thing I’ve been thinking of doing. Not sure I should so close to the wedding, but I want to.”

That gets everyone interested, and as we put in our ice cream order, we start talking about it.

It sounds a little lame once I say it, but everyone is on board. Especially Nick. He grabs his phone and says, “I’m going to talk to Leigh. She’ll know the best place.”

Ice cream orders in hand, Braden and I make our way to a table and sit down while everyone else waits for theirs.
