Callan takes my hand. “Probably. But you seem to handle them pretty fucking well."

"I've had help." I smile at him.

Trix interrupts us, pointing at the white fencing caging in tangled thorns and roses. “We're here."

"So are we." A familiar voice sounds from the darkness.

I jump and curse. “Fuck, why do you jackasses keep appearing out of thin air? It's very rude."

Oliver smirks at me as he saunters our way. “Well, we were hiding until you got here so we can sneak up on this shithead who dared take our girl."

Warmth fills me at the protective possession in Oliver’s voice.

Trix growls. “Don't get any ideas, omega. She's mine. I only share her with Rory."

Oliver rolls his eyes. “Oh, fuck off, you know I only have eyes for one omega."

"Good. Let's go save mine." Trix stomps towards the gate.

“We should split up into groups of two or three,” I say. “Shout if you find them or if you need help."

Everyone nods at my words, all of us pairing off. Trix and I are stuck together like glue, both of us determined to find our girl. Callan comes with us while the other three head in the opposite direction, everyone else scattering as well. This prick has pissed off a lot of omegas. His chances of getting out of this garden are slim.

If he's here.

Fuck, I hope we're right.

She's been missing for hours at this point. Maybe he's finished whatever he had planned for her here.

Trix and I are still hand in hand with Callan looming behind us, a silent sentinel, letting us lead as we thread our way through the maze of this place. It’s massive and it's dark, so my hope slowly dwindles as we find nothing.

Until finally, a shout, "Over here!"

We take off in that direction, prayers to fates and gods I don't believe in forming on my lips.

"What is it?" I skid to a stop next to the omega who shouted.

There's no Rose here or the asshole who stole her. If he just shouted across this fucking place for nothing, I'm not going to stop Trix from murdering him.

"Look." He points to the ground.

Trix huffs. “I see the ground. There's no Rose though."

I see what he’s pointing at and nudge Trix. “It's a root cellar type thing."

“You think she's in there?" Trix asks.

The omega nods. “I’m pretty sure I heard something."

“Okay. You guys stay back. Thank you." I pat the omega’s shoulder.

"She better fucking be there." Trix yanks the door open.

She has to be.

Because if she's not, we don't have the slightest lead.

Trix climbs down into the cellar first, with me almost stepping on her head in my rush to follow.
