"When do you want to go talk to your new pack?" She grins like a dick.
"Ugh. I guess we can go back for dinner." I'm cut off by my phone buzzing in my hand, the message on it making a mean grin spread across my face. "And it looks like we'll be bringing Trix along to dinner too. She'll be on her way within the hour."
Rose sits straight up, her eyes wide and panicked. “Shit! I need to clean my room and clean... some other things."
I wrinkle my nose. “I didn't need to know that."
She gestures at my middle. “You might want to do the same if you're moving in with that sexy pack. You don't have to bond with them, but you should definitely have some fun."
The idea is certainly tempting, no matter how complicated it'll make things.
Chapter Twenty-Six

I'VE GONE AS FAR TO prepare a few bags by the time Rose, Trix, and I head to the pack's house for dinner. I've got my war paint on and my girls at my sides. If the pack has changed their mind about helping me, I'll have them to help me figure things out.
Trix is all for getting both Rose and I the hell out of dodge, helping us hide, helping us escape the country. Apparently she has a couple contacts herself she's already reached out to for us. Hopefully they'll respond to her since they're ignoring me.
She and Rose have been flirting hard the last few hours and I have a feeling Trix will have no need in staying over with me tonight. Or to take my apartment if I move in with the pack. I'm fairly certain she'll be in Rose's place.
My matchmaking skills are on point. I hope they find more together than Trix and I found together. They’re so fucking adorable.
Grey answers the door, his smile immediately freezing when he takes in Trix between us. "Hello."
Trix gives him a mocking smile. “Nice to see you again."
She’s such a dick.
"Uh, yeah. You too." Grey clears his throat and steps out of the way. "Come in. Sorry."
"I told you I was bringing two guests,” I remind him as he shuts the door behind him.
