"You haven't seen the library inside our home yet, have you?"
Her head jerks up and she stares at me with wide eyes. “What?"
“Right, we haven’t given you the tour yet.”
We’d planned to after dinner.
“Let’s go. I want to see.” Aurora grabs two of the three bags before I can.
I grab the remaining one and follow her from the building.

“IF YOU SHOWED THIS to me before, I would've agreed right away to move in. This is..." I trail off, eyes wide as I spin in a circle, trying to take it all in.
It's not the Beast's library by any means, but it is impressive as hell for a private library. The one at the welcome ball the first day had more, but this one is more cozy. This one makes me want to curl up on that lush couch and never leave.
I want to build my nest in here.
Oliver slips inside, hands in his pockets, his eyes intense on me. "What do you think?"
"Can this be my bedroom?" I'm only half-joking.
He gives a careless shrug. “If you want it to be. Though you'll have to put up with a lot of visits and interruptions. The entire pack are big readers.
Callan nods in agreement, his gaze intense on me as he watches me explore this place.
I really don't need this pack to get any more attractive. I'm already struggling enough to keep my hormones from taking over.
"Is this your handiwork?" I ask Oliver.
He runs his hands across the spines on one of the shelves. “Mostly, but everyone helped. We chose this place because of the built-in shelves since we all brought so many books into the pack."
If I brought my personal collection here from back home, the place would overflow with books. Maybe I should have them shipped here before I leave. I like the idea of them in this place better than back home where my mother will probably destroy them in an alpha temper tantrum.
Asking her to send my things might even make it look like I really am considering this pack.
Everyone will think they've won.
A horrible thought occurs to me and I spin to frown at them with concern. “What happens to you when I just disappear?"
"What do you mean?" Callan asks.
I feel like such an asshole for not considering this before.
"If everyone thinks I'm considering your pack to bond and then one day, I'm gone, won't you get in trouble? What if they try to take Oliver away or force him into the program?" I’m working myself up to a damn panic attack.
The last thing I want to do is take them all down with me. Especially when they’re working so hard to help me.
Callan shakes his head. “My mother will never allow that. And we'll just pretend to be just as shocked as everyone else. Grey and I can play petulant alphas just fine when the occasion calls for it."
"Are you sure?"
Oliver nods. “Positive. They won't do shit to us. Besides, Enzo finally agreed to bonding, so we'll be official soon enough."
