"Hey, guys, congrats," a voice said.

I whirled around, and there he was! Chris fucking Hemsworth!

Between the proposal and this, I was going to have a heart attack. And while I stood there dumbfounded, watching Josh extend a hand to him, I noticed Chris Hemsworth's eyes narrow slightly.

Tilting his head at us, he said, "Wait a sec. You look familiar."

Josh and I exchanged a quick glance then burst out laughing as Chris Hemsworth looked at us like we were crazy. Someone soon grabbed his arm, leading him away.

"See you inside," he said, turning back for a moment.

We both waved then grinned at each other like idiots, the two of us shaking our heads at the absurdity of it all.

"Hey, Mrs. Hemsworth," Josh said.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'm not done with my proposal."

"What?" I asked. "What do you mean?"

"Well, when I asked what you were doing tonight, I had something very specific in mind."

My heart busted out dancing. "Okay?"

"So are your parents still in Las Vegas for that convention?"

I couldn't take my eyes away from his bright expression even if I wanted to. "Yes," I answered, drawing out the word.

"So how about when this thing's over, we take a little road trip to Vegas and get hitched."

My mouth fell open as the shock hit me hard. "Are you serious?"

"I've never been more serious in my life."

Still stunned, I just stood there.

"That's still what you want, right?"

I nodded.

"And I figure you want your parents there, right?"

Once again, I moved my head up and down.

"Then let's do it, baby. Be my wife."

The smile he gave me lit up my soul, and I couldn't believe the amount of giddy happiness that surged through my veins, making my heart close to exploding.

"Let's do it," I said.

With those words out in the air, Josh pressed himself into my body, not having to duck his head so far down because of my heels, and his lips possessed me in a kiss that made me cling to him for balance.

"I love you so much," he said, resting his forehead against mine. "I can't wait to be your husband."

"And I can't wait to be your wife."

Smiling at each other, the world around us disappeared, and it was only the two of us, surrounded by our own love and joy. The journey to get to this place hadn't been easy, but it had molded me, made me who I was, who I was meant to be.
