“Well, then let’s cool you off,” she says and tugs me onto a shadowed pathway. She guides me down between some trees and then around a huge sea cliff.
When our feet hit the sand, I look up at the midnight sky and smile. “Your favorite color,” I say.
“You remembered,” she says with a smile and kicks her sandals off. Then, before I can say another word, she pulls her dress up over her head and tosses it on a rock.
