Davon was the first one to say anything.

“I’ve got systems in place to communicate with the Starrider. Only a few trustworthy men I’ve placed feeder lines with and one of them is Zaavyr, the leader of the first battalion and one of Kira’s mates. Your sisters are deep in the forest; communicating with them would be much more complicated just based on the fact that they live off the grid. I can’t hack my way to them. If you want to send them a message, it’ll have to be another way,” he replied.

It was then I remembered the GPS tracker in my arm. Maybe Davon could use it. I told him about it, and he looked thoughtful.

“If you wish it though, it can be done,” Ryder said confidently, his rare blue eyes studying mine.

“My sisters will be safe?” I ventured nervously.

“You have our word,” Morgn confirmed.

All four of them stared at me with awe, respect, and happiness.

I trusted them, and they trusted me.

All four of them surrounded me and held me close.

The Vakarrans should be my enemy. I should hate them, rue the day they conquered Earth, but I couldn’t. My Vakarrans were different. They didn’t look at me as their slave, a set of holes to fuck and impregnate like I had expected. Once, I’d sworn to fight and kill every last one of them, just like my sister Kira had, but no more.

I’d found love in the place I’d never expected it.

Humans and Vakarrans. Mortal enemies through and through.

But not me and my Vakarrans. We were meant to be.

They loved me, and I loved them.

They had truly mastered me after all.

The End
