Aarav grins back and that reminds me we are still joined together.

“That’s because I don’t want you to keep from enjoying tonight with your team. You deserve every bit of attention from everyone tonight.”

He looks in a very good mood to celebrate my success so I take this opportunity to bring up a very important topic that’s been lingering in my head for the past few weeks.

I rub my thumb over his cheek. “I’ve been thinking of asking you something.”

“Hmm.” He enjoys the sensation my thumb leaves on his cheek and I can feel him stiffening again.

“Have you ever thought of having a second child?”

Aarav looks back at me with his assessing eyes and it’s a bit hard to tell what’s going on in his mind.

“I mean-”

Before I can complete it, Aarav pushes himself into me again.

“I have. I have thought of this ever since I planned to take you to Scotland two and half years back.”

Really? My face brightens.

The next instant, Aarav is pushing into me again while his mouth plays with the skin of my neck.

“I thought you would never ask, Jaan. Thank God you did.”

Oh my goodness. He seems very excited about this plan of a second child. So am I. Gripping hard on his back, I let him take me to the edge again.

His words, his movements inside me and most importantly the way his heart beats against mine at this very moment, makes me smile. Who would believe we were enemies at one time, and he married me for his revenge? We’ve come a long way and we still have a long way to go. With a husband like Aarav Raichand, nothing is impossible, nothing is scary anymore and nothing is better than what we have built for each other.

THE END
