“Boy, it’s been a weekdo you have your fair lady yet?” Sasha asked as she walked into the garage.

“With my lady? I would be thrilled if my lady would even notice that I was living?”

“Okay tell me what is it that you've done?”

Austin wish he had a better answer for Sasha. ever since the kiss it was as if she was avoiding him at all costs. If she needed something she would ask Jillian to come and get it. If they needed to review a virtual show or what was going to be in the lineup, she always made sure there were at least two other people in the meeting.

Austin understood where Claudia had come from and the last thing he wanted to do was to impose himself on her. He was actually on his last legs and was thinking about giving up.

“I've brought her gifts. I try to be considerate whenever I can. I try to find in any way that I can that I care about her and that she's special.”

Sasha started laughing.

“You kids really know how to take the long road. I’m totally amazed at how many things you said and none of them were the obvious,” Sasha said.

“What exactly am I missing?”

“Have you thought about just asking her out?”

Austin ran his hands through his hair.

“You don't understand Sasha. I'm trying to be patient with her?”

“Oh really? That is not what I heard as I returned to town. I heard that you all had a great show that people can’t wait for the next episode to come out of and that you two were acting like a bunch of teenagers in the front seat of her very high truck.”

“We weren’t! Who told you?” Austin asked shocked and defensive. “Claudia did nothing wrong and – “

Sasha held up her hands.

“Hold on Austin. No one is saying that Claudia did anything wrong. I’m just saying that if you are going with the theory that you want to take it slow you probably shouldn’t have been kissing her in her car.”

Austin dropped his head in his hands and tried to catch his breath. Small towns were going to be the death of him.

“It only happened once Sasha. I don’t want anyone to think I’ll of her because I had a moment of losing control.”

Sasha touched his shoulder and he looked up.

“Austin this isn’t about judging you or her what this is about is asking why is it okay to kiss her but not take her out on a date?”

“She like rules and things to be in order and I’m trying to do that for her as well is all.”

“Well, it seems like to me you are trying to give her what you think she wants and it’s getting in the way of finding out if you two should be together. You need to make up your mind what path you are going to go down but more important you need to know who is important in this relationship. Is it you and her or what the town thinks?”

Sasha said that and then left out of the office but not before she ran into Jillian coming into the office.

“I hope you have better luck talking to him than I did,” Sasha said as she left leaving a questioning Jillian to look at Austin.

“She just got back last night. What could you have done?”

Austin looked at Jillian and shrugged.

“I think it’s what I haven’t done that is the real issue.”

“Well, I’m the delivery gal again. I’m just dropping off some invoices. Do you know how long you and her plan on doing this?”

“I’m not sure I can take another person beating up on me today Jillian. If you want to hold on to your voucher and you can come back tomorrow when I’m a little stronger,” Austin said.

“Okay, let’s talk because neither one of you looks to good.”
