Did she turn music on? She’s swaying, dancing with herself if I had to guess. Damn shame. We’re both rubbing our hands against our straining erections.

I haven’t gotten a boner in front of another guy in decades. But there’s something between us that keeps this from being awkward. So why do I want to tell him to get his cock out and stroke it?

I shift my gaze back to Madison. I want a piece of her. I want to experience the beautiful side of a woman that will punch a guy in the face while he’s fucking another woman. Everything I know about Madison captivates me. Jayce filled me in on her being an honor student, lots of volunteer activities, and so few public displays of affection with Brett.

I have so much catching up to do. I’m jealous that Jayce has known her longer. “You suppose she’s shy in public, but in private, she’s…like this?”

“If I got my hands on her, she’d have to learn to be loved all the time, not just in private.”

Loved. Yeah, I feel the same. It’s a lot to process. “You don’t think we’re taking advantage of her, do you?”

“We’re not forcing her into anything.”

“Heartbreak can be a bitch. Make you crazy.” If there’s any reason we shouldn’t be playing to the whims of this young woman, I want to address it.

“Then she better be ready to ride some crazy dick.” Jayce puts my craving to words.

I jab him in the side, watching his expression. “You wouldn’t?”

He lets out a long breath. “I would.”

“If she came over here right now?”

“Then she’d be asking for both of us. Are you going to say no?”

I turn back to the window. She’s dangling her bra from her fingertips. “Why the hell was I looking at you while she was stripping?”

“Because you want a piece of this too.” Jayce grabs his crotch.

I don’t have to look to know the gesture, but I do. And he’s right. I want both of them.

Jayce lunges away from the pool table, ripping me from the craziest thought I’ve ever had. He’s reaching for the blinds. I focus past him. Madison’s fingers are tucked into her panties, pulling them halfway down her ass.

But the blinds come down faster, the cords releasing unevenly, holding one side up several inches while the other crashes into the sill.

“What the hell?”

“It can’t be like this.” Jayce bangs a fist against the wall, still holding the end of the cord. His head drops against his arm.

I’m torn. I’d been testing him, making sure he was committed, but now that he put a halt to it, I’m not ready for it to end. “Can’t be like what? You just said—”

“Don’t tell me what I said. Give me one day. I’ll figure this out.”

I reach for the cord and he yanks it away. “Okay, okay. If you’re afraid to come in front of me, I’ll go first.”

“That’s not it.”

“Then what is it? If I leave and find out you opened these curtains…”

“You’ll what?”

I back away. “Nothing. We both have a lot to think about.”

He nods slowly. “I want to sleep on it. Talk to her tomorrow.”

“You know you can trust me.”

He paces silently. What the hell is Madison thinking right now? Does she feel rejected? The thought makes my chest hurt.
