Cyrus had a fairytale life.

He only let go of Oz to start gathering up the last of their things as he directed the movers. When he glanced over at the daywalker who silently loaded boxes to assist the movers, he smiled and his stomach filled with butterflies.

"Hey there!" Amy called as she walked up with an entourage of guards. "Wow, I thought I would miss all of you, but you're still here."

Cyrus grinned. "You can thank Foi for that. Jaygen's upstairs tearing into him right now."

Amy shook her head. "Yeah, that sounds like them. My brother?"

"Upstairs with the two of them, but they should be coming down shortly."

She nodded, but there was worry on her face. Cyrus wanted to ask what was going on, but if it was something that involved Porter, he knew she wouldn't open her mouth except to talk to him first. They were so close it almost made him envious. He'd never had any siblings and it seemed as if they could read each other's minds at times.

"Move the last of it into the trucks, mutt. You are holding us up and I am quickly losing patience with you,” Jaygen growled.

"I love you too, kitty cat." Foi chuckled as he strolled out with boxes in his arms and kissed Jaygen's cheek. "Oz, come help me with this shit!"

Porter chuckled as Jaygen pressed down on his right eyelid. Foi had definitely hit his last nerve for the day. They were all going to pay for it when they reached Oxdale and Cyrus steeled himself for a long night of organization, cleaning, and control in Jaygen's bed afterward.

"Amy!" Porter exclaimed when he joined them. "Hey!"

"Hi, little brother."

They hugged and Cy couldn't hide the smile on his face. Porter had asked all of them if they wanted to move into his family home and it had been a unanimous decision. No. As much as they loved him, that place held nightmares for all of them. Besides, what they were doing now was going to be best for the failing host bar in Oxdale. They could make a difference in supernaturals lives the way Porter wanted. They way they all wanted.

"Arden," Amy said as she pulled away from Porter. "I'll be here to pick up your guys the day after tomorrow. Their rooms are being finished."

The man nodded. "Good. Thank you for taking them on."

Amy had agreed to take supernaturals into her employ. They would have rooms, food, money, and be treated equally among the rest of the guards. It had already caused some murmuring, but Amy didn’t give a damn. She was kind of a badass.

"Anything for you guys. After what you did for us," she said as she wrapped an arm around Porter's waist, "I'm forever in your debt." Amy chewed her bottom lip. "Speaking of debt, I would like to add to it."

Arden raised a brow. "Oh?"

"Gamble, come here."

Cyrus watched as one of Amy's guards stepped up. He looked young and kind of shy as he refused to make eye contact with any of them. Cy's eyes wandered over his slender frame, brown skin, and the peek of gray-green eyes that caught his attention. Jaygen elbowed the incubus and he quickly cleared his throat and glanced away.

"This is Gamble," Amy said as she looked at Arden. "He came to be a guard, but...he's shit at it."

"Damn," Gamble grumbled. "Didn't think I was that bad."

Amy pinched the bridge of her nose. "Gamble, we both know this is not where you belong. Arden can take care of you here. Stay, become a waiter or a host or work the bar. You'll be safe."

The man mumbled under his breath but one long glance from Amy and he shut up. Arden nodded and agreed to take him on. Cyrus wanted to laugh. It wasn't even really a question. Of course the dragon was going to take in another stray. It was what he did best.

Porter turned to Amy. "I'll see you soon, right?"

"Dinner every other week?" Amy asked, a smile on her lips as her eyes watered. "And I will be hounding you for holidays. All of you," she said pointedly as she turned to fix all of them with a deathly glare. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you too," Porter smiled. "But we'll video chat all the time."

"You'd better," Amy said as she chuckled. "Where's Spooky?"

"About that," Arden started.

"I'm staying." Spooky walked out to them and stayed beside Arden. "I know you helped me a lot Porter, but I don't want to leave."
