The human grinned at him. "I'll miss having you to curl up with at night, but I understand." He walked over and hugged Spooky tightly. "Thank you for coming at a time when I really needed a friend to talk to. You know more about me than these guys probably."

Jaygen growled. "That little shit knows what?"

Porter walked over and grabbed the front of Jaygen's shirt. "You can beat it out of me later. Come along. Cyrus, you too!"

Cyrus burst out laughing and earned himself a famous Jaygen glare. Together, they packed up the rest of their things. The moving truck was being driven by the supernaturals they hired while they all piled into one car. Cyrus sat in between Oz and Porter, waving to Arden, Spooky, and Amy as they started to pull away from the host bar.

"Bye! Call us, Arden!" Cy called.

Once PGD faded into the background, Cy's heart filled with sadness all over again. Oz grabbed him and laid his head into his big, comforting lap. Porter ran a hand over his back, speaking to him soothingly as the building, the street, and then the city disappeared into the background.

It was time for a new adventure.

Six Months Later

"No,that goes over there behind the bar. Jaygen would like the bottles arranged perfectly and please don't screw with him about it or I'll never hear the end of it. When the new bartender comes, he can reorganize anyway he wants."

Porter walked through the brand new renovated Oxdale PGD and smiled. Everything was coming together nicely. It had the same feel as PGD, but with touches of all of them. Fresh flowers because Porter found them endearing, pinks and purples because they were Cy's favorite colors, dark corners that Oz could disappear into, upbeat music for Foi, and for Jaygen, clean lines and mesmerizing decor that he had picked out carefully.

Yes, technically Arden owned the business, but they were running it and it was truly their baby. Porter had let his dark hair grow out, and he tucked a few strands behind his ear as he walked through the bar with a checklist.

"Pretty, is everything in order?"

The human smiled warmly at Jaygen. "Yes, Sir. The hosts are getting ready for our grand opening. Want to hear the theme?"

Jaygen sighed. "Will I regret letting you and Cyrus pick?"

"No, Sir." Porter closed the space between them and laid his hand on the man's chest. "We're doing cops and robbers. Simple, classic, and I'll be your very own naughty criminal." He leaned up and pressed his lips against Jaygen's ear. "The handcuffs are upstairs in our room."

Jaygen growled. "Slut," he said, the word laced with affection. "I'll be sure to take you up on that offer tonight."

Porter shivered. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Excuse me, Porter." The human glanced at a pixie near him that held out her phone. "Mr. Arden was calling for you so I picked it up."

"Oh, thank you!" He took the phone and smiled at her. "Go on back to work, I'll handle this."

As she scurried off with a smile on her face, Porter's heart warmed. For years he thought he wasn't a leader, that there was no way he could be. And yet he had discovered that the issue wasn't him, it was his father and that place he called home. The all new PGD was run by all of them, but Porter had blossomed into a leader without even realizing it. Although the way he did it was with love, affection, positivity and a bit of sternness when needed. If he couldn't get his point across, he sicked Cy on them. And if that was ignored, in came Jaygen and Foi. It worked out perfectly.

"Hey, Arden," Porter said as he turned away from Jaygen.

"How are things?"

"Amazing. The bar is almost up and running for tonight and we can't wait to start." He smiled. "How are things working out back there? How's Spooky?"

"Spooky is fine, even though he refuses to give me another name to call him. You couldn't just name him something normal?"

Porter chuckled. "No way! How was I supposed to know he was a familiar?" He smiled as his own cat, Cheese, hopped onto the bar. Porter picked the little troublemaker up and nuzzled him affectionately before the cat climbed onto his shoulders and perched there as Porter walked around. "And Gamble? I saw the way you looked at him the day we left."

Arden scoffed. "He’s...a handful, but adjusting. You're insane. I didn't look at him in any kind of way."

"Yes you did," Porter teased in a sing-song voice. "And you want to know the funniest part? When we met you said I wasn't your type, but he kinda looks like me right? All soft and sweet and doe eyed."

Arden grumbled. "You're out of line, human."

"You're in denial, dragon." He poured himself a shot and tossed it back before he smiled. "One day you're going to look up and be surrounded with men of your own, Arden."

The man growled. "Don't you have a life of your own to live? I'm sick of you and your gossipy little polycule."
