"That's what I thought." Porter laughed.

"Aren't you two supposed to be working?" Jaygen asked as they both looked at him. "Foi, you have clients waiting and Porter there's a table of men that specifically requested a human..." He glanced down at his tablet. "Five minutes ago. If you two are hell bent on not working, I can send you both upstairs and dock your pay."

Foi grumbled. "Fucking hard ass like always. Maybe one day you'll remove the stick and you'll be able to think straight."

"That's an hour docked," Jaygen said calmly as he typed away on his tablet. "Shall we make it two?"

"You're such an asshole!" Foi sniped.

"Two hours."

As they argued, Porter slipped away. Jaygen wasn't in too bad of a mood. Docking pay was a lot less of a punishment than getting sent back upstairs. Porter liked to think that he had something to do with that. Ever since they had started spending time together Jaygen was still uptight, but he had started to loosen up even if it was only a little.

Porter's eyes took in the room and he soon saw Cyrus. The incubus was flirting with a man, his black dress riding up his thigh. Porter groaned internally. How was he supposed to see him like that every night and resist pounding into the little demon?

Ozni was in a corner, his brown skin wrapped in the sexiest black slacks and maroon button up. The first three buttons were open showing off his chest as a woman sat beside him, staring at the vampire and eyeing him intensely as she ran fingers through his white hair. Oz glanced up and winked, making Porter's cheeks burn in embarrassment.

"You're with Cyrus." Jaygen's voice made him jump, but he nodded as the tiger leveled him with a dangerous gaze. "That's the table that requested both of you. Get to work." Jaygen closed the space between them, his lips pressed against Porter's ear. "Or I won't let you come on my cock tonight."

Porter shivered.Fuck.The man knew exactly what to say to him to make him get in line. Jaygen's tongue traced his throat in one, discreet swipe and Porter had to force himself not to moan. The way everyone toyed with him was unfair. His cock was so hard that he had to stop and take a deep breath before he was finally okay enough to walk away from Jaygen and to the waiting table of customers.

"Good evening," Porter purred as he looked at the first man dressed in a suit and tie. "Welcome to PGD." He smirked as the man's icy blue eyes traveled over his body. "Would any of you like something to drink? I can put in an order for you."

"Porter?"

Porter turned and froze. His blood ran cold as he stared into the dark, terrifying gaze of Gabriel Manetti. Goosebumps spread over his arms and the hair on the back of his neck raised. Perched in his lap was Cyrus who had been laughing and flirting until Porter stopped. Gabriel's hold tightened on the incubus and he swallowed thickly trying to make his brain function.

"W-what are you doing here?"

Gabriel's eyes narrowed. "What areyoudoing here?" He jumped up from his seat making Cy topple from his lap and onto the floor. "I've been looking for you for weeks and I find you here?" He growled looking Porter up and down. "Dressed like some confused fucking whore. What? Are you selling yourself to the degenerates who visit this place?"

Porter's jaw dropped and words tumbled out on autopilot. "Me? You're asking me what I'm doing when you've just been caught with one of these so-called degenerates on your lap?" he snapped.

"Oh, you have a world of hurt coming to you," Gabriel growled, crossing the space to him and grabbing his arm. "We're going home. Now."

His father's fingers digging into his skin forced a wave of fear to crash over him. Once again, he was in the man's grasp and there was nothing that he could do about it. Nails cut into his flesh and he whimpered at the sharp pain that shot through his arm.

"I-I'm not going anywhere with you. Let me go. Dad, let me go!" Porter yelled as he pulled away from Gabriel and tumbled to the floor. "I don't want to go anywhere with you. Leave me alone!"

Gabriel laughed. "You're my son. The heir to the Manetti name. Do you really think you have a choice?" The man sneered. "You run to this slum, dress like a woman, and think that you're free? No, fuck no. Get up."

Porter shivered, but he refused to move. "No," he said as he stared back at his father, his palms pressed against the cool wood of the floor. "Leave. I'm not going anywhere with you."

"You can get up or I can carry you out," Gabriel growled.

"I'm not going." Porter's heart sped against his chest as his father loomed over him and it felt like every eye in the bar was on them. He was barely keeping the fear from entering his voice. "I don't want to be the heir to anything. Just let me live my life."

Porter yelped as he was yanked to his feet, but he wasn't up for long. Gabriel backhanded him hard and it sent him spilling to the floor again. Once he was down, Gabriel's shoe connected with his stomach. Porter cried out, bile rising in his throat as he tried to suppress the urge to vomit.

Just like that Porter's world was falling apart again. He felt another blow and another, but he knew what was about to happen. No one was going to save him. Gabriel Manetti was a force to be reckoned with and he had too many people in his pocket. Porter prepared himself to take his beating. Once it was over, he knew he would be dragged back home where the pain would start all over again.

"Dad...please..." he wheezed as blood collected on his lips and tears rimmed his eyes. “I-I’m sorry.”

"You don't get to speak, bitch!" the man snapped and reached down, ripping off his wig. His father tossed it away in disgust before he grabbed Porter's cheeks and forced his gaze on him. "You will pay for this."

Porter shivered, but his father had quickly sucked all of the fight from his body. He laid there and looked up at him. The monster in his nightmares wasn't some deranged supernatural, it was the man in front of him.

It had to come to an end eventually. At least he got a peek at what a good life could be.
