“Here, Kitten.” Shaun hands my phone back, and I place it to my ear.

“Kitten, I want you to do something for me.” Tyler’s voice is all business. It’s a real turn-on.

“Uh… ok.”

“I want you to promise me you won’t go off on your own again. Can you do that?” Tyler asks, and I shrug, even though he can’t see me.

“Yeah, I guess.”

“No guessing, Kitten. Promise me. I need to know you’re safe.”

“If I disobey you, will you spank me again?” I tease, letting my grin show.

A round of groans sound from the guys, which tugs up my grin.

“No. This isn’t one of those times to be a brat. You be safe. Promise me. No going off on your own. Stay with one of the guys at all times.” Ty’s tone is stern. It’s a little like his teacher voice, yet not quite the same.

“Ok. I promise.” I mean it too.

“Good. When you get back, I’ll spank you for not taking my request seriously, ok?”

My grin broadens at his comment. “Ok, Daddy.”

Ty growls before he sighs. “Kitten?” Ty’s voice is quieter now. Still serious, but not demanding.

“Yeah?”

“I’m more than a boyfriend. I know I shouldn’t be encouraging this thing between us, but just so you know, you’re the only one for me.”

It’s funny. I didn’t realise until this moment how much I needed to hear Tyler say that.

“I want you,” I whisper, wishing only he could hear.

“All in good time, Kitten. Now go have fun. Stop thinking about the bad stuff, but if you can’t stop thinking about it, try talking about it with that possessive fucker who smashed up the office. Or any of them will do. It will help, even though it’s confronting. It really will help.”

“Ok. I’ll try.” I smile.

“See ya in a couple of days, Kitten.”

“See ya.”

As soon as I hang up, Shaun pulls me up off the ground and drags me against his chest. Our bodies slap together from the force, and he buries his head in the crook of my neck.

“Don’t fucking leave me, Kitten.” There’s so much pain laced in his tone, and I hate that I put it there. I need to stop thinking about myself all the time and remember that my actions will affect him. They will affect all of them.

I wrap my arms around Shaun, giving him a squeeze, needing to be closer yet feeling like I can’t get close enough. It must be the clothes we are wearing.

“Sorry for scaring you. I needed to re-group. I needed Ty, but I need you, too. And the others.”

Shaun pulls back, his steel-grey eyes capturing mine as he leans in to take my lips with his. As our lips part and clash in a long, deep kiss, someone moves up behind me, pressing their chest to my back.

“You scared me. I was losing my shit, Cherry.” Simon’s voice wobbles a little as if he’s on the verge of tears. I break my kiss with Shaun and reach an arm back, tugging Simon closer and turning my head to find his lips waiting to take mine. As we kiss from this awkward angle, Simon cups my face, brushing his thumbs over my cheek. It’s a nice feeling to have Shaun pressed against my front and Simon at my back while they show me how much they care with their lips and tongues. It’s an even better feeling when someone takes my left hand, and I instantly know by its large size that it’s not Shaun or Simon. I break my kiss with Simon to see Garrett lifting my hand to his lips again.

“We were all pretty frantic to find you.” He admits, and I instantly feel like shit again for causing so much drama.

“I’m sorry,” I whisper, and Garrett leans forward.

At first, I think he’s going to kiss me. His eyes fall to my lips with hunger I haven’t seen before, but before I can get my hopes up, Garrett’s eyes dart up to mine again, and he presses his forehead against mine.
