“Ohmygoditsgoingtocomeout!” Rhys leaps up from the dusty floor and bolts towards the toilet, but Simon does too, and now they are both racing toward the small bathroom.

“It’s kind of like having kids,” Garrett observes, and Marcus and I chuckle and nod.

Rhys reaches the door first, shoving it open, and then nearly gets knocked out by it as it ricochets off the wall before Simon shoves past her, darting for the toilet.

“No!” She screams, grabbing the back of his hoodie and reefing him back, all while tugging her pants down. He goes flying back out the door, landing on his arse as she stumbles to the toilet with her white arse pointing our way before she spins and sits down, a look of pleasured relief washing over her face.

“Fucking hell.” Marcus chuckles. “Hey Rhee. We can see you!”

“I don’t care!” She yells back, keeping her eyes closed as her bladder empties.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck.” Simon jumps up like he has ants in his pants and runs back into the bathroom, heading straight for the sink.

Kitten’s eyes fly open, and a look of horror crosses her face as she takes in Simon, who is now pissing in the sink.

“Ew, Sy! I have to wash my hands in that sink!”

“You’ll have to wait until I’m done, Cherry.”

Marcus loses it, tumbling to the floor, clutching his middle.

“I gotta say, this is time well wasted.” Garrett chuckles, and my smile stretches wider.

“Hell, yeah, it is.”

Chapter Eighteen

Rhys

Shaun Bossier has some serious negotiating tactics up his sleeve. Not only did he convince me it was a good idea to call my mum and go home for the night, but he did it without telling me what he negotiated with my mum. Sneaky fucker! I didn’t even know there was a secret trip planned until my mum brought it up on the way home in the car. I think she was happy that I’d come home willingly after realising Shaun didn’t need to bribe me.

She explained that my laptop and phone are mine and they won’t take them from me, as well as assuring me that there are no drugs in the house. Maybe it was the Mary Jane in my system, or maybe I was just genuinely happy to see my mum, but either way, I believed her words.

It was late when I got home, the twins long in bed, and Char out for the night with her girlfriend. Will was up, though, and when I stepped into the living area and saw how frayed around the edges he was, I rushed up to hug him. Cynthia followed, and we all had a moment in a group hug, and then he said something I will never ever forget.

“Rhys, I’m so sorry for making you feel like you’re not the most precious and exquisite thing on this earth. I let my emotions control me, and I need you to know that I love you just the way you are.”

Needless to say, I cried again, but this time, they were happy tears.

When I finally fall into my bed, sleep comes quickly. Again, probably because of the MJ. I’m so exhausted that I sleep past breakfast and wake a little after ten in the morning. My phone has a few unread messages from the guys. Just the usual good morning, we miss you, and we love you. It's enough to make this girl blush. I respond to the messages and then shower, making sure all the parts that don’t need hair are silky smooth, and then I wash my hair before letting it dry naturally as I dress for the day.

It's another sunny day and mild outside, so I choose a t-shirt dress, rock chick style, charcoal with slashes and holes, and totally Rhys George. I keep my face free of makeup and piercings because I know the guys love seeing me that way, and the way their eyes light up like I’m the most beautiful thing they have ever seen is something I want to see over and over again. I slip into my black Docs, pack my bag full of lingerie that probably won't stay on for long, plus a few other boring items like clothes, make-up, and hair stuff. I throw in Big Jim because it’s time he and Garrett sized up, and I carry my bag out to Will, who is working at the table again today while waiting for me.

Hearing me enter the room, he looks up, sitting back in his chair as he sighs. “Just so you know, I’m still your dad, and I have to do the dad thing.”

“Uh-ok.” I raise my brows as he stands from his chair at the table.

“Don’tdo anything youdon’twant to do. Maybedon’tdo everything youdowant to do. And be safe. Always. I can’t express how important that last one is.”

Smiling, I step forward and throw my arms around his neck. “I love you, Dad.”

He hugs me back instantly, squeezing me like he doesn’t want to let me go, and for a moment, I don’t want him to.

“I’m sorry about going cray-cray the other day,” I say quietly, and he squeezes me tighter.

“I’m sorry we put you in a situation that sent you cray-cray.”

I giggle at him, repeating my words, and he pulls back, smiling.
