"Hey," he complains, his brows pulling together. "Sex is sex. I can imagine someone else's head on her body."

"It's still really fucking wrong, man," I tell him.

He rolls his eyes at me. "You don’t have a hot sister—"

"Thank fuck," I mutter.

"You wouldn't get it."

"I've got a—" Brandon looks at Sasha. "Okay-ish looking sister, and it's still fucking wrong."

"Wow, okay-ish. That was almost a compliment, Bran."

Thankfully, Tim and Fawn appear, putting an end to another sibling argument. Tim lowers another six-pack to the table between us, and the pair of them drop onto the other end of the couch from Mia and me.

"So what have I missed, other than Easton taking over the world?" Channing asks, desperate to get caught up on real life after his stint in the hospital.

Conversation erupts around the room, and I sit back and watch them all with wide smiles on their faces.

Yeah, everything is going to be okay here.

We've still got a lot of work to do, a lot of changes to implement. But together, as a team, we've got it all under control.

I never thought I'd say it, but I trust every motherfucker under this roof right now with my life. And as long as Kingsley does as Mia assures me he will and stays away, I think the Electi might just have a bright future in Gravestone.

Mia notices my silence and twists to look back at me. "You okay?" she mouths.

"Never better, baby."

"I love you."

"I love you too,"my brave little mouse.

Epilogue

Mia

One month later…

“How are you feeling?” Sasha slips into my room with Annabel.

“Oh my God, Mia. You look amazing.”

“Thanks, Bel.”

After everything that happened, I finally decided to offer her an olive branch. She’s one of my best friends, and I know her betrayal came from a place of self-preservation and hurt, not malice. It wasn’t easy at first, letting her back into my life, but if I want to move forward, I have to lay the past to rest.

I have to let go.

At least, that’s what my therapist keeps telling me.

It was Bexley’s idea that I talk to someone. Of course, there are some things I can’t share, but they know enough to help me come to terms with things, and it’s working. I feel stronger than I have in a long time.

We moved into the new house two weeks ago. It’s a huge sprawling place near campus. In some ways it’s very similar to the Electi house, but this one is a fresh canvas for us to make new memories and start over. The bedroom I share with Bexley overlooks the luscious vivid green lawns and pool. Channing and Sasha have a room across the hall, and the guys stay on the other side of the house. I’ve had enough up close and personal interactions with Brandon, Ashton, and Alex to last me a lifetime. We have new rules now: no sex in public. Of course, they have a man cave in the basement for when they want some privacy.

I guess some things will never change.

Life is good.
