He nodded and took off.

I changed and opened my safe. I grabbed my knives, two pistols, my AR, and my go bag slinging it over my arm. I slipped my boots on and walked into the hallway. Nick walked down and looked at me. “We need to sneak out unseen, or someone might call Gabriele and alert him.”

I nodded, “I know a way to get out unseen, follow me.”

“Where would they take him?” I asked Nick as we sped down the road.

“Al slow down, dying in a car crash won't help him or us.”

I took a deep breath and let off the gas a little. “Nick, where?”

“I don’t know. Let me call Gino, maybe he can tell us something.”

“Can we trust him?”

Nick sighed, “if there is anyone, we can trust it’s him.”

I nodded, as he pulled out his phone, listening to his side of the conversation. “Have you heard anything about where everyone went last night, or what's going on? No. I have no idea, he said he’d call me, but I haven't heard from him. Why the fuck didn't you tell me that Gino? Where? Where? Fine.” He hung up.

“Gino thinks Gabriele is going to kill Dad too.”

“What? Why the hell would he want to kill Uncle Marco?”

“I have no idea, but we need to hurry. Gino said they are at a warehouse near the docks. He overheard Bade talking about where they were going.”

I stepped on the gas and headed for the pier. My phone rang, it was Arturo. “Hello?”

“I’m here, what’s the plan?”

“Things are bad. Apparently, my dad wants to kill my Uncle Marco as well. I have no idea what the hell is going on, but we found out where they took him. Do you know where the old warehouses are by the docks?”

“Yes.”

“Meet us on Crenshaw five blocks north of the warehouses. We will be there in fifteen.” I hung up.

We pulled up and got out getting our gear ready. I grabbed a couple of spare mags from the bag, putting them into my back pockets. A black car pulled up. I turned, my P365 aimed at the front window. The door opened. “It’s Arturo, calm down," Nick reassured me. Arturo climbed out I took a deep breath and nodded.

He walked over and pulled me into a hug. “Good?” I looked up at him and shook my head. He nodded. “I know.” He looked down at me. “You look like a damn assassin.” I smiled and shook my head. He turned walking back to the car slinging an AR over his shoulder. He walked back looking at Nick and me. “We do this as quietly as possible.”

Nick nodded. “Agreed, no sense going in there half-cocked and starting a blood bath.”

“I’m taking point. You guys back me up.” I announced.

“Alora,” Arturo looked down at me, “I don't think that’s a good idea.”

“I’m not asking! This is my city, it's my husband and uncle in danger and my men. And you have no idea how capable I am!” I glared at Arturo.

Nick nodded. “She’s capable, trust me.”

Arturo sighed. “Fine, but if things go bad. I will do whatever needs to be done.”

I nodded. “Okay.”

We made our way, sneaking between the buildings until we found one with cars parked outside. “That’s my dad’s SUV,” I whispered to Arturo. He nodded. We snuck around the building, to one of the windows on the left side. I slowly peeked in. It was a long hallway. I saw two of our men, walking back and forth. We continued, checking in more windows not seeing any sign of Luka or Marco. I got to the corner and peeked around. I saw Franco standing there guarding the door. I turned and looked at Nick, whispering, “Franco is guarding the door. Do you think he will be on our side if it comes down to it?”

Nick shook his head and shrugged. “I don’t know, I’d like to say yes, but I'm not one hundred percent certain.”

“Go around the other side, distract him and I’ll sneak up behind.”
