He hooked his arm behind my back, and then my arms were around him. I stood on my tippy toes and pressed a kiss to his lips. “Thank you. It’s perfect for Sofia.”

“Sofia?” His eyebrows raised, and then he glanced over at Damian. He nodded. “I love it.”

“Where are your brothers hiding?”

“We’re here,” Bastian said as he entered the room with Luca, running a hand through his dark brown hair. He plopped down on the bed, his gaze shifting between us. “You look happy.” A smile tugged at his mouth. “Is this what you had in mind for her bedroom?”

“As usual, the four of you have exceeded my expectations.”

Luca stole me from Marcello’s arms and planted a kiss on my cheek, his hand covering my stomach. He did this every time he touched me. Like he wanted the baby to know he was here for her. “You’re glowing, my queen.” His lips grazed my cheek. “Pregnancy suits you. I can’t wait to put my child inside you.”

“You’ll all get your turn,” I promised, smiling so hard my cheeks hurt. “But that’s it. Only four kids.”

“What if you have twins?” Luca shoved the curls off my shoulder. “That’s a possibility.”

“Four pregnancies,” I amended.

“How did you paint in the room beside mine without me knowing?” I asked Marcello. “A mural of this size would have taken me months.”

He flashed a mischievous grin. “I’ve been working on it since you found out you were pregnant.”

“But how did you know it was a girl?”

“I didn’t,” he tossed back with a smile. “So I painted two rooms.”

My eyes widened. “Let me see the other one.”

He slipped his fingers between mine and led me out of the room. He opened the door beside it and we stepped inside. Instead of the pink and gray swan theme, he painted this space to look like a scene from Greek mythology.

A cartoon version of Achilles wore a bronze Corinthian helmet, greaves, a linothorax, and held a shield. He looked like he was flying through a sea of Trojans, swatting his sword at the soldiers. They dropped one by one at the feet of the best Greek warrior.

“Marcello,” I muttered, my eyes filled with tears. “This is incredible. Wow! I am truly blown away.”

“We can save this room for our son.” He kissed the top of my head. “I’m glad you like it. Seeing you smile is worth it.”

My guys aimed their adorable smiles at me.

I leaned back against Marcello’s chest. “She’ll be here soon.” I rubbed my palm over my stomach and gasped when I felt her kick for the first time. “Ow.”

All four of them were on top of me, asking me what was wrong.

“Put your hands on my stomach,” I told them. “She just kicked me.”

“I felt nothing,” Damian said.

“Same,” Bastian agreed.

“Wait for it. Maybe she’ll do it again.”

A minute passed before I felt her kick, this time harder than the last.

“I felt it,” Damian said in disbelief, his eyes wide.

Bastian smiled. “Me too.”

Luca and Marcello didn’t comment, just grinned like idiots and kept their hands on me.

“I think she likes her new bedroom. And I think she likes the sound of your voices.”
