Okay… This is cuddling.

My phone ringing wakes me up. I try to roll over, hitting Ledger’s large body. “Other way, idiot,” he grumbles.

Scoffing, I roll away from him, grab my phone, and answer it. “Hello?”

“Hey,” Hazen says, almost shyly.

“Oh, hey, Daddy.” I roll over with a grin.

He lets out a lighthearted chuckle, making my chest tighten. “You’re on speaker.”

I snort.That probably won’t stop me.

“I have to ask you something, but I would rather do it face to face…”

Sitting up quickly, I push my wild curls back. “Are you… okay?” I look down at the phone, seeing the time. It’s the next morning now. Close to ten a.m.How did I sleep so much?

“Yeah... Can you come meet me?”

“Yeah. Send me wherever you are. I’ll leave in like… ten minutes.”

“Okay.”

Hanging up, I move away from Ledger to the bathroom to get dressed, thinking about the one time I slept with Hazen. I only sucked Hazen’s cock once, and I desperately want more of him. I’ve never wanted men more than I’ve wanted Ledger and Hazen. And although Hazen seems like he likes me, he’s not mine fully.

Ledger puts on an extra pair of sweats—the grey sweats that have me drooling—and a T-shirt with sneakers. I try my best not to look down at his dick that is a bit visible. “Why are you staring again?”

“Because I can see your dick.”

He looks down. “And?”

I bite my lip, moving toward the door. Hazen has sent me the address to some hotel in the Shadow World. Together, Ledger and I move down the stairs. I find my dad inside his office.

“Hey, any leads?” my father asks, looking at me over his glasses. He looks like a weird giant with those tiny, circled frames. His silver hair is pushed back away from his face, and he wears a suit, like he’s going to work. “None. We…” He glances at Ledger before motioning for only me to enter the office.

Glancing at Ledger, he gives a slight nod before closing the door behind me, leaving me alone with my father.

“Hell Storms have only ever happened in Hell.”

I nod. “Obviously.”

My father stands and rounds the desk. “Circe, when we caught up to each other, mentioned she felt a mage that’s powerful. Scent was the same as in your room when someone stole your medication.”

“Someone stole my medicine?” My brows pull together. “Is that why I couldn’t find it? Why would someone want them?”

“Circe thinks we aren’t the only ones who know you’re human.”

I bit the inside of my cheek. Now Hazen and Ledger might not be the only ones that know, but how would anyone else know?

“Don’t worry about it,” my father says with a sigh. “Going to see Hazen?”

I nod.

“I’m going to have Shadow Guards follow you.”

“Dad,” I whine.

He glares at me with his red eyes. “Take Ledger with you, too.”
