The bright Coloradosun dipped behind the Rocky Mountains just as Brewer shut off his Harley. He patted the beast of a machine for good measure. After a somewhat successful meeting with the Greenback Cutthroats, he and his men were in dire need of sustenance.

Hawk whistled at a nymph who was walking across the parking lot. The short girl with blonde hair winked and Hawk hurried after her.

Chuckling, Brewer knew every man in Macha deserved a bit of sexual attention after the day they had. Coming to a peace agreement with the Cutthroats hadn’t been easy. It took most of the day, and no one came out the clear victor. With Shovelhead officially out of both clubs, it was easy to hand the man off to the Feds for prosecution. The traitor wouldn’t see the light of day without bars in front of him for the rest of his life. It didn’t satisfy every man’s need for blood, but Macha agreed it was the best route.

Thinking back to the agreement, he sighed. Each club would mind their own, like before, except now, Macha would keep closer tabs on the neighboring MC. The enforceability was shaky, but the truce would hold up for a year or two.Or until they elect a new president.

The clubhouse was loud and rambunctious, but he wouldn’t want it any other way. This was what he’d grown up in and what he inherited. He’d make his parents proud, but more importantly, he’d make himself proud.

“Hey, Prez, you want next game?” Cueball asked from the pool table where it looked like he and Snoopy were losing to Kevlar and Nikita.

Grabbing a cold beer from one of the nymphs, Brewer nodded. “Sure. It’ll give Delphi some easy practice.”

Kevlar smirked, but Cueball was less than amused. Still, the other man didn’t argue or snap back. Not any longer. Not when Macha’s members looked to Brewer for leadership. Only three months into his presidency, and he wasn’t used to the responsibilities and perks associated with the gig.

Leaning against the far wall, he watched the members mill about. Each one had a jovial attitude even if they were losing at a game. Children ran among the bikers, the sight truly one ripped from his childhood.

Doc and Isa were chatting in the kitchen, and Brewer noticed the two canoodling. Her Irish lilt was too familiar to be foreign anymore. Brewer smiled behind the bottle of beer. Even if she was only his distant cousin, he wanted the best for her. And it appeared Doc was it.

During her short time in Macha, Isa had completely transformed their clothing store and made a killing at it. He couldn’t be happier. Especially since he now had the inside track on all the club’s doings. It wouldn’t be long before Doc and Isa announced that another baby was soon to be added to Macha.

From the corner of his eye, Brewer noticed Nikita dancing around the pool table. Glancing over, he grinned at the sight of the FBI agent turned old lady bragging about her recent victory. Kevlar stood beside her with a knowing look on his face. He was lucky to end up with the badass woman.

Brewer finished his drink and headed toward the kitchen. The hallway bustled with the activity of both members and the nymphs they were chasing down the stairs. He didn’t miss that part of the club. Some men might, but Brewer was perfectly happy with one woman warming his bed every night.

A gust of warm air met him before he reached the kitchen. Rubble’s big form filled the doorway without even trying. The club’s sergeant at arms nodded once, not bothering to address the bassinet filled with pink and blue baby clothes in his arms. His old lady, Jupiter, wasn’t far behind him. Though her belly wasn’t overly obtrusive, she’d already started to waddle a bit when she walked. Out of all his brothers, Rubble was the one Brewer never imagined would be tamed by a woman.

Brewer let them pass without a word, a secret smile on his face. All his brothers were knocking up these beautiful women and adding to Macha’s lineage. It filled him with hope for the future of the club.

“Either of you seen Delphi yet?” he asked, interrupting Doc talking to Isa’s flat stomach.

Doc jumped to his feet. “Uh, no, not recently.”

“Last I knew she was at the bakery,” Isa said with a shrug. “Which reminds me, Doc, Queenie’s dropping off Cliodhna in a few minutes, so if you want to do that thing, we’d better hurry.”

In one smooth move, Doc lifted Isa off her feet and over his shoulder. “Gotta go, Prez. Time without the baby is minimal. Chat with you later.”

Brewer waved them off and shook his head. He never thought Doc would settle down, but Isa was just the woman for the job.

“Yo, Prez, your old lady’s out front, asking for you,” Klink called from the door.

Not bothering to grab another drink, Brewer made his way through the clubhouse and out to the lot. Sure enough, Delphi was sitting astride his bike, her hair flowing in the breeze. She hadn’t seen him yet, so he took a moment to merely soak in her beauty. The cut on her shirt hinted at her breasts instead of flaunting them. But those jeans. He let out his breath. They hugged her thick thighs and equally lavish ass.

As if sensing his gaze, Delphi looked over and a shy smile crossed her lips. “Hey, you. Got time for a short ride?”

Brewer made quick work of the distance between them and handed her a helmet. “For you, always. Where to?”

“Our place.”

Knowing the spot, he hopped on and donned a helmet. Delphi settled in behind him, her arms loose around his waist. The engine roared beneath them, and Brewer took off down the street, shifting gears quickly. He wasn’t sure why she wanted to see the barren land, but he’d be damned if he didn’t oblige. He’d do anything for his old lady. A truth they both knew well.

DELPHI

A shiver tickled through Delphi the closer they got to the spot of land directly next to her restaurant. It’d taken a bit of work and haggling between the two of them to decide on the layout of the house. So far, no construction had started, since they hadn’t come to a full agreement.Yet.She hugged Brewer a little tighter. For as long as she could remember, having a home filled with babies and friends was all she’d wanted.Dreams change and I along with them.

The bike rolled to a stop and Brewer cut the engine. “What’s all this?”
