I giggled. “Look at you getting all jealous over him having the Duchess all to himself.”

I hoped Augustus didn’t notice me perving on his perfectly defined abs as he buttoned up the shirt. I ran the tie through my fingers. It was wool, too, spun so fine it was almost like silk. The mastery of this textile was incredible. “Is that what you think you could provide her? A sexual awakening?”
“Without question.”
I looped the tie around Augustus’ neck. Before I could react, he was tugging me against him. His cock hardening behind his boring cotton underwear. “Augustus.” His name was a breath on my lips.
“Sienna.” My name was barely audible as he lowered his mouth toward mine.
“No.” I pressed a staying hand against his chest. “I have—”

“I won’t cheat on him. I love him.”
“Love is such a messy business, hotness. To chain yourself to love so you aren’t able to fully discover who you could be.” With a sigh, Augustus released me and tied his tie as though it was as normal as breathing.
I helped him into his jacket. “You know you drive me insane, right?”
He quirked one side of his mouth upward, and it quickly spread across his entire face, then he unzipped the door. “Ladies first.”
I put some distance between myself and Augustus as we joined the team.
Kai went straight into directing Augustus while I stood back and watched. “We want to get some shots of you by the fountains and around the archways.”
“All right.” With a nod, Augustus followed the photographer’s directions.
“He looks rather good in tweed. Not that the tweed factor is all noticeable, which is definitely what we’re going for.” Linda’s eyes roamed over Augustus, and she played with the collar of her gray linen shirt.
“It’s what I like about Estate Styles,” I said. “It’s modern but unmistakably British.”
“Sonja likes to hold to the old values and traditions. That’s why landing a model such as the likes of Lord Huntington is so important. He’s not the first member of the nobility to shoot with us. But he is certainly the most fun.”
“If you call chasing him across London to pin him downfun,” I grumbled under my breath.
“Care to repeat that?”
I pasted a big smile on my face. “I think it’s great the brand can work with such influential people.”
“I thought that was what you said.” Linda faced me square on. “Sienna, is everything all right? When you arrived, you were bright-eyed and excited to learn about everything. You were adamant you wanted to know about all aspects of the industry, and I’m attempting to give you valuable insight. You came with such a high recommendation. But lately, your light seems to have faded. Are you enjoying this training? I mean, this is the trip and position of a lifetime. Not many people get to this point, as I’ve said to you in the past. So what’s wrong?”
She was right. I was generally a bubbly and confident person. I hadn’t been feeling like myself lately, and it was foreign to me. “It’s a lot of things. I’m loving this opportunity. Please don’t misunderstand me. But I feel guilty about your car. I’m homesick, and my guy is back in Wayborough Shores, and he can’t make it for Christmas because his family wants him there for the holiday. I miss my best friend too. The only friend I began to make here moved up to Lincolnshire to take care of her brother.”
Adele’s autistic brother was having trouble adjusting to life without their father, who’d divorced their mom suddenly. He was acting up in a big way, so she’d taken indefinite leave.
“Okay, look… the car is partially my fault. I shouldn’t have forced you to go and get him.” Linda waved her hand in the direction of Augustus. “But you know, I think Adele would love it if you made contact with her. Riva admires the shit out of you, and Lord Huntington has taken to you as well.”
“He is such a bad temptation.” My breath shook with the admission.
“I agree. But if he makes you enjoy this job, then take the risk. I want to be able to give you a great reference at the end of this. But for me to do that, I need more enthusiasm from you, Sienna. Do you understand?”
“Yeah, I get it.” What else could I say? She was right.
“Next location,” Kai shouted.
“Already?” I exclaimed.
